mma weekly twitter says that nsac approved 5 round non title fights for 'champion level' fighters or some wording like that. Should be pretty cool for main events that aren't title fights.

That would be awesome. I would love to see the big fights at 5 rounds...that really separates the men from the boys.

Meh. I like the 5-round fights for title fights only. If you want to "separate the men from the boys" get a belt.

definitely going to be interesting to see how its implemented, maybe on fights that decide the next contender? i know it can be a problem to schedule multiple 5 round fights on one card (fitch fight moved twice @ ufc 100), but i definitely think its a great idea. maybe PPVs will just be longer now!

His brow does look super puffy. I think diaz got that surgery too but I don't remember him looking any different I think wand had much more scar tissue to remove though.

Apparently the facial surgery he got was designed by some american guy and that guy is the one who did diaz's and someone elses surgery. Problem is that silva didn't get the surgery from that guy and no one else was really trained to do it so he may have gone to some backwater guy in brazil and got shitty work.
