Fedor and M1 have their contract directly with Showtime, not Strikeforce.

Who cares about Fedor now? If he wants to show that he's a top heavyweight then he has no other options now.
Zuffa buying Strikeforce feels like WWE all over again. Remember when they bought out WCW, then a few years later bought out ECW...?
Paul daley is FUCKED!
Daley is one of the most overhyped fighters right now. The guy knocks out Smith and all of a sudden people are putting him in the top ten ww's.
Fedor still has legions of fans who would pay in a heartbeat to see him fight. Whatever promotion he ends up with will rake in boatloads of money off his fights.
i would still like to see randy vs fedor but thats about it. maybe give big nog another shot lol. other than that i am far more interested in the reem, werdum or big foot taking on the UFC boys. god i would murder for the reem vs dos santos.
mayhem vs bisping would also be amazing
Fedor is likely going to fight at light-heavyweight, and people are expecting that will improve his odds, but it won't.
I'm a huge Fedor fan even still so I hate to say this but he really needs to update his training regimen. He was ahead of his time but MMA's caught up with him now. He & his team admitted they had no gameplan going into the fight with Antonio Silva, that their training camp was the same as their past... and then his coaches accused Silva of playing mindtricks and stuff... I can respect Fedor's loyalty to his team that's stuck with him all these years but if he wants to dominate again he needs some new trainers.
he will stink at 205. no speed advantage
I think he just doesn't have the heart anymore either... his last three fights I dunno there was a certain drive that seemed lacking.
He's been pummeled for 10 years, but unlike many others who have been doing it for that long he doesn't have some love or passion for it, he just does it for the money, to feed his family. It seems to be catching up to him.
Word around the campfire is that he had wanted to retire even before his fight with Werdum but his management convinced him to keep going. He is part owner of M-1 so that's why they figure into his negotiations all the time. I think he's just using what's left of his career to get M-1 a foot in the door, cos if they succeed then he's set for life, but he seems to be going through the motions to make it happen; he just doesn't seem to have the will to fight anymore.
Just because of the history, I would LOVE LOVE EVOL to see Randy and Fedor go at it. Easiest PPV buy ever.
I still like the idea of a Fedor/Barnett fight.
But yeah, Fedor/Couture is very appropriate.
OH MAN, Bones FTW

tl;dr: TODAY, THE DAY OF HIS FIGHT, lady gets robbed, he chases the robber down, kicks his legs out, holds him til cops arrive.
Prelims starting right now.
The only fights I really want to see tonight are crocop and the title bout, both are sick hype.
atdhe.net not showing ufc link for me, anyone got a link to somewhere that is showing the fights tonight?
