I think his only shot is winning a decision with gnp (but even with jones being a greco guy he has shown a great ability to defend freestyle wrestling TD's so I think Rashad getting a TD may be very difficult) or by exploiting some weakness he knows about by being a training partner.

Funny enough when it comes to style-wise, I think Shogun would've beaten Evans while Evans is going to grapplefuck Jones Couture style. Jones is a greco wrestler but I don't think he's messed with anyone at this calibur with this style.

I'm hesitant to believe in the whole 'era' after Machida came crashing down but Jones may be the one to stay at the top for awhile. Agreed with above though who mentioned Mr. Wonderful, he gets no love but I see him as one of the few who has a chance to topple Jones

Mr. Wonderful has some damn good wrestling too, I just think Bones is too unpredictably good to lose the belt so soon. Dickriding etc but this kid is the truth.

I honestly thought Shogun was going to take advantage of Jones unorthodox's styles big ass openings, was wrong as hell about that. In my opinion, it's going to take a great wrestler to end Jones streak.

I personally think Jones is too big for that weight class, he needs to move up. But he wont.

If I recall Jackson had said if two of his team members fight each other he would not train either of them for it.

If I had to guess Rashad would be at grudge training center with coach trevor wittman guys like shaub and carwin and jones would train with the jacksons crew (jackson would probably just stay out of the whole camp and focus on other fighters) and some of the montreal crew like phil nurse.

I wonder if Rashad will go up to Colorado to train with Marquardt, Carwin and the others up there, I don't know how they would be able to both train out of Albuquerque without too many problems coming up

For the record, Bones would completely destroy Silva. The only reason Silva has stayed on top so long is that there isn't a dominant takedown wrestler at 185. Silva would have the exact same chance Shogun had, which is an unexpected submission.
