fight as good as any until the Story-Ellenberger-Condit-Kim quartet throw up another viable contender
glad Diaz isn't wasting his talent in boxing, and he might just be able to force GSP into an exciting fight

It's gonna be 50-45 GSP, but still 1% chance of a diaz ko![]()
Diaz has an exciting guard

What a raging vaginaAfter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson's win over Matt Hamill at UFC 130, he gave an interview to MMA Heat reporter Karyn Bryant. When answering her questions, he commented on her looks, said she was making him "horny," then put his head into her chest to mimic "motorboating."
Bryant laughed off the incident. If it were me, I don't know if I could do the same. Most of the times that I've met and interviewed Jackson, he's been fine. He hasn't been a joy to interview, but he hasn't been rude and certainly hasn't assaulted me.
What's different? My interviews are rarely on video. I prefer to write my stories, so Jackson doesn't have quite the stage as he does on when interviewed with a video camera. Jackson's worst actions -- assaulting Bryant, grabbing a Cage Potato reporter, threatening MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani and hitting Cagewriter's own Steve Cofield in the crotch -- happen when he's on camera.
His act is tired and old, yet we continue to interview the man and give him the publicity he needs to further his career, and that's where MMA media is making the mistake. He thinks it's funny to assault the people who cover his fights, who write about his movie, who give him a stage to show off the "Rampage" persona.
Let's stop doing that. Take away his stage. Don't ask him questions in press conferences, don't cover his every move, don't give him another chance to assault reporters. He may think his act is funny and cute, but there is one way to ensure that no one else finds it funny or cute. Don't cover it.
edit: Maggie Hendricks that is...
I don't know why you guys are excited about diaz vs gsp. since it's the main event it is guaranteed to be cancelled by an injury.
im actually tired of rampage shtick, i dont find it funny at all. he comes across like a typical dumb jungle bunny. it wasnt funny when he was humping reporters in japan, its not particularly funny over here. he isn't even fun to watch anymore.
the unfortunate truth, just really glad to see nick get his chance at being a mattress!
Who has GSP ever fought that has as offensive and action-packed a guard as Diaz ?
i don't think he's ever even fought someone that's truly comfortable on their back in MMA; Miller and Penn can obviously spend time there but both much much prefer being on top and Penn for one has never submitted anyone off his back and rarely even hits reversals
GSP will probably be able to survive the guard but watch the Diego/Karo fights with Diaz, Nick never rests and even if it does turn into a straight up grappling match it's at least an exciting grappling match
damn i was hoping chuck would rise to the occasion and teach that bastard tony a lesson. ah well. go ramsey!
Too bad Maggie Hendricks is absolutely correct. I know it's all "fun and games" with Rampage, but he's made female reporters uncomfortable in the past and will probably continue to do so. The interview he did with Heather Nichols was very uncomfortable and I honestly thought something was wrong with him when I saw the interview. At the same time, people are looking for any reason whatsoever to crucify MMA; humping and molesting female reporters in Japan or America on camera isn't the way to paint your sport in a positive light. In that same vein, there's no way Rampage would ever do anything of that sort with Maggie Hendricks. Her assertion that it doesn't happen with her because the interviews are off-camera are ridiculous, the real reason it wouldn't happen with her is that she's overweight and far from a sexual figure of any sort. And there's nothing wrong with that, she can look any way she chooses. But in the end, her point is 100% correct. He's doing nothing but discredit female reporters, himself, his money-making potential, MMA and the UFC. He's a grown-ass man and it's time he acted like one.
Rampage does use the camera to market himself as a person with charisma, which will help with any career, including being a fighter. As for the GSP/Diaz fight, it's about time but GSP is all about efficiency. He'll find a way to win, by decision of course.
GSP by domination.
I can't help but think that GSP has watched the Sherk fight a few times. I think Diaz has improved since then, but I don't know how much.
lol, he is p spot on if you ask me.
