Monson's submission game is light years ahead, he should just leap to guard or dive at an ankle pick or throw a banana under Cormier

Cormier's striking looks pretty good. Granted he is fighting Monson but the fact that he can throw more than a 1-2 like so many HW's but also that he can throw in combination and thanks mauro for just saying this same thing as I was typing it you moron

Monson is obviously a top game guy but if you've seen him compete at Grappler's Quest or other no-gi submission tournaments you see his full BJJ arsenal, may not hit gogoplatas left and right but very good at reversing and i imagine more than good enough to school Cormier.

Sweeps and leg locks Monson could pull off without trouble on Daniel. The Snowman's legs just aren't long enough to seriously threaten with a triangle though.
