Yeah, glad Lytle got the sub to finish the fight decisively. Judges probably would've gave the split decision to Leonard Garcia had it gone the distance.

Will not cut @danhardymma I like guys that WAR!!!
Looks like Lytle passed the torch to Hardy for guys who will never get cut because they're always in a good fight. But... If he has a performance like the one against Johnson, I doubt they won't cut him. If he keeps losing, he better keep having fights like the one he had tonight.
Hardy isn't always in a good fight though... Tonight was his first in quite some time. And I imagine that it had more to do with Lytle then it did Hardy.
Herman puts down another one, my boy is back!
Also, Bendo looked incredible, scary as fuck right now.
Really trying to be a Hendo fan, but he's so goddamn annoying.
Miller needs to get his fucking head examined trying to win by hitting a sub on Bendo from off his back, and that jumping arm-triangle was ridiculous it's like he never saw the Cerrone fights
seeing him drop Bendo in the third round just increased the hurr-durr nature of the fightplan he probably could have sprawled and brawled his way to a win.
Good win for Lytle to go out on that guy has been crazy entertaining since the Serra loss and is a class act. Great win for Cerrone, love the body work we're starting to see more of in MMA these high-guards have been getting ridiculous.
And it was only on the facebook prelims but check out the Hettes-Caceres fight if you can that was a more scrambly affair than any I can remember in recent history.
Shawn Tompkins died last night for those who missed it. Autopsy results pending.
Yeah pretty crazy news. Speaking as an Ontarian, gonna be a big hit to Canadian MMA.
Sounds like he died in my city too. Shitty.
Press conference for UFC on Fox just ended:
-First UFC event on Fox will be November 12th. No real details yet but they're working on it.
-UFC will still handle production of the main events while Fox Sports handles pre and post shows.
-Looking to broadcast four major fights per year on Fox.
-There will be plenty of cross-promotion between the UFC and existing Fox Sports.
-FX will have fight nights on Fridays. No idea how many per year.
-The Ultimate Fighter will now be "live" on FX. They'll show the prerecorded stuff(training, house, etc) while counting down to the live fight(s).
-TUF will have fan interaction. Fans will be able to vote on which fights they want to see. No idea how much influence that will have yet.
-Fuel will have a large percentage of UFC programming. No plans to rebrand Fuel.
-The gladiator opening is going the way of the dodo.
I think that was all the major points from the conference.
So is Spike done then?
I like the gladiator intro.![]()
Hope to god Bellator moves to Spike, watching MTV2 in standard is painful.
weren't they supposed to buy g4?
Would anyone want to watch the same UFC programming over and over anyway? Unleashed is already beyond repetitive.
Glad to hear UFC will still handle the main production on Fox. I mean, I doubt they would've accepted the deal otherwise anyways but still glad to see there won't be anymore Gus Johnsons spewing obvious bullshit of the sport.
