That really speaks to how weak the HW division is. Nothing against the guy, but the division as a whole is pretty weak. Sounds like he may have broken his hand also...so Griggs in as replacement if so?

As expected of Josh.
Barnett is a bad dude.
Was there any doubt Barnett was going to win his bracket lol?
I'd like to see you knockout a guy with a fucking tiki head, tell me how your hand feels afterward.

lol, always thought he looked like that guy from Longest Yard with the half moon head.
god damnit sergei
most disappointing heavyweight in mma history
he outgrappled Werdum and and stalemated Big Nog on the ground in Pride (hitting some beautifuuuuuul escapes) [and submitted the 14-1 Russow from his back]
i don't know why he's gotten fat and has totally collapsed mentally but once upon a time he was a hell of a fighter
Didn't see shit, did Barnett dominate in less than a minute? That's what the thread leads me to believe. Takedown and choke? What happened?

sergei acted like a white belt after Barnett tripped him down into full mount, took about 4
Worked him in the stand up, had a real nice slam which he mounted him from, very smooth and amazing transition. Roger lost tonight, pretty sad since I know his family pretty well, Charles is my Jujitsu instructor :/
There are a lot of heavy's that Barnett would make look like white belts tbh...but Kharitonov has definitely seen better days. It is never a good sign when you got one guy in your corner when you're on a major show.
To be honest, the whole seeding of the tournament was tailor made for Barnett on his side. I myself was hoping for a Bigfoot/Rogers finals for shits and giggles.
So it's Cormier/Barnett? Does Cormier stand a chance? I really want to see Barnett back on the main stage as a #1 contender and see what he can do.

Doesn't matter now. Cormier apparently broke his hand in the bigfoot fight. I would say Strikeforce should wait til he's healed up for the finals but does anyone give a fuck about this "Grand Prix" anymore? Werdum would be a pretty interesting replacement considering their styles.
Sounds like a great opportunity to get the last emperor in there and satisfy my desire for a Fedor/Barnett fight that was taken from me by Affliction 3 years ago.
