Sounds like fun. He is mildly famous for being pretty good at karate. I'm sure you have read "The Art of War", so you know not to underestimate. He is 35 years old though. Kinda old.

The only thing more epic would be if they put a styrofoam city, with little model trees and cars, in the octagon while you were fighting him.

I can always make videos leading up to the fight like that. My mind is going 100 mph right now with all the possibilities if I can pull this out. I am tapping some connections I have and trying to find someone that knows him.

@ FNH: It is a risk I'm willing to take. I am confident enough in myself to know that I can impose my will as a wrestler if I have to.

He actually was a Karate instructor for some time in Southern California teaching kids Karate. I can't remember how far back this was though, I'd say about 8 years or so. If he gets his ass kicked Zordon can't save him.

On a more serious note, after trying to search for material regarding Jason Frank's technique either from his base style (Red Dragon American Karate) or his self-founded style and school (Rising Sun Karate)... not trying to be harsh, and I'm not sure how much is honestly associated with either school, but... a lot of it reeks of McDojo syndrome. I'd be curious if someone can find some exhibition footage of him doing something besides trick kicking or weapon forms.

That is all I could find. He got some impressive tattoo work done, 'cause that makes you look tougher. When asked about his style, all he kept saying was "It's like Jeet Kun Do, except I used the best from all styles" "I was doing MMA before MMA was a thing" and various other douchey comments.

If it's true then rampage is an idiot, he has tuf10 that will build a ton of hype and the event was scheduled for his hometown and he decides to go in a movie even though he is a fighter and not an actor.

Calm down. Him being Mr. T in a big budget movie is a good thing. The UFC and Rampage will get a TON of publicity for this. The movie is set to wrap in November...so that only delays the fight 'till what...the super bowl show? Maybe a little earlier. This could be huge for Rampage's career. If he can pull off a good performance here and this movie is a success, then he has a shot at making millions in Hollywood. He would be an idiot not to take the movie. Dana knows that any publicity of his guys in movies/tv...is a good thing.
