Random, but I met Mark Hominick tonight. I work part time as a banquet server and he was at this Sports Celebrity gala in Hamilton. Cool guy. Talked about his fight with Jabouin, Shawn Tompkins, how the merger has effected his popularity, and who he wanted to fight next.

Really down to earth dude. Sat there talking with a guy in a monkey suit for quite a while... It's funny cause I had no idea he was going to be there either. Everybody was talking about Roberto Alomar for weeks, Hominick went under the radar.

Also, Rafael dos Anjos used a calf slicer on Tyson Griffin in their first round. Tyson didn't tap, but his movement was fucked for the rest of the fight. That was a decent fight now that I'm remembering it.

One guy actually walked up to him and talked about his massive hematoma against Aldo for what felt like the most awkward 5 minutes ever. and to be fair Hominick probably raised the bar on having the worst hematoma in MMA history, I mean.. it looked like another head. But yeah definitely retarded to bring that up when you get the chance to meet him.

how many posts did you have there? I need to know if I should trust your opinions on MMA and if you had less than 1000 posts you surely don't know anything about the ultimate fightings
