their striking / grappling / strength & conditioning subforums are pretty awesome
the main is indeed a shithole of hate and idiocy

I like some of the subforums...the strength and conditioning forums in particular are pretty awesome. I avoid the main forums like the plague though.
Watched Silva vs Sonnen again for the first time since 2010 and man, do you guys really buy Silva's excuse that he was just taking hits and trying to fight from the ground to submit him? I might just believe him now.. I also think Silva is going to K.O Sonnen into oblivion in the rematch. Can't wait.
Seriously, the way he got "knocked down" in the 5th round gave it away the most, it was very delayed and awkward.
no, after he rocks Sonnen in the 4th with the standing elbow he sprawls and sprawls hard to avoid the takedown, he realizes how behind he is and that he needs a finish. in the last 2 rounds he did everything he could to avoid going to the ground
his rib was fucked, i'll buy that. he was strangely passive on the ground and looked about as bad as he ever has on the feet, but he wasn't just toying with Sonnen as part of a master plan he was getting the shit kicked out of him. dude looked near-death after the fight
I'm very surprised his face wasn't bruised or bloody after the fight, either way yeah I can definitely believe his ribs were a big factor if he wasn't just "toying" with Sonnen. Still though, the way he fell down in the beginning of the 5th.. Sonnen barely even grazed him and he falls so awkward, it just doesn't look natural and from then on the fight is on the ground, Silva pulls the hail mary triangle.
Silva's face doesn't physically get injured. He took shot after shot after shot against Rivera (he allowed it), and his face looked completely normal.
TERA has Bas Rutten's blessing, you all must play!

Scotty gonna whoop some Barão. I scoff at his underdogness.
I got Nelson over Werdum and WOOOOOO nation is taking the win tomorrow. Condit and Diaz is gonna be bananas but I think ultimately Diaz is gonna use dat reach and outbox him after the second round.
I consider Diaz/Condit pretty much a coin flip... They're almost the same damn fighter. Should be fun.
Nah, I think Condit has a more "complete" striking game as he uses lots of knees and all that jazz, Diaz is just a scary long distance boxer with hella accuracy. Tonights gonna be sick as fuck.
Diaz also likes to fuck around and test his chin the first few rounds where as in Condit's last two opponents have never been KO'd before until they met him.
Both have an aggressive guard which I fucking love

Rhysis is still mad my boy Ed took out Credeur, but Starks shouldn't have a chance here. D1 wrestler, no ground game to speak of just screams for a Herman sub in the first or second. Don't be hatin Rhysis.
And I laid 100 on Jorgensen a week back at +265. I'm seeing Barao squeaking out the first, then Jorgensen the rest of the way for UD 29-28.
Scotty needs to take revenge for my homeboy Pickett![]()
Roy Nelson looks like he's dropped a fuckton of bodyfat, I think he's going to beat Werdum.
Lol, screw you and that red headed step child! Why you gotta bring back the pain.
Both have aggressive guard games, lots of scrambles, neither are overly strong in the clinch, both favour their hands on the feet (mind you Condit will actually use other stuff), both have iron chins and they get tested often. Pretty simple to see their styles are very very similar.
