Rules are pretty shifty for white belts, and as it's American Cup I need to bring my birth certificate. Still gonna be awesome, not promising any flying subs but I will be taping.
Did someone we know get a tattoo of Diaz subbing gomi? LOL
The fuck you talkin' 'bout son?
Without context, that just looks like one dude sucking another dude off.
No disrespect to whoever it belongs to, but that's one of the dumbest tats I've ever seen lol.
I'm aware of what it's supposed to be. What I'm saying is, if you don't watch MMA or know of that particular fight, it just looks like a dude sucking another dude off. Which I imagine is not the desired effect the person believed it would have.
so quick question about overeem's drug tests.
i know zilch about elevated testesterone levels or t to e ratios or whatever. so bottom line, overeem managed to pass back in november, but failed by over double the allowable limit now.
my understanding is that steroid tests are relatively easy to pass so long as they're planned for; it's the surprise tests that get people, that's how josh barnett failed his test back after his couture fight. one of the things that dana white says in response, and what makes him so mad, is his claim that overeem sat there and lied to them all back in november.
so what's the implication/likelier scenario:
1) back in november he was actually clean, and was dumb enough to start roiding after the test, even though he knew full well he'd be given two surprise tests
or
2) he's been roiding this whole time, and the move to the netherlands was his way of circumventing what would have been a positive test back in november?
TE ratios are basically never > 2:1, it's almost impossible unless you're roiding.
the tldr is he dodged the "turn up tomorrow" test by getting a flight to the netherlands and claiming he was visiting his mother.
Also this test was a new type of surprise test - and they turned up at a pre fight publicity conference - no advance notification, no way to escape it.
Basically - he's been very good at cycling to avoid testing positive but the surprise test caught him.
Blood doping is the way to go anyway, I'm sure the impact in the LHW/HW division would be much more beneficial than roiding also as it would help avoid gassing.
oh i might note with option #1 i'm not under any impression that he never roided, just wondering if he stopped in prep for the test.
i can't wait to hear the 'overeem is god of heavyweights' crowd make excuses for him this time around.
They all use something. It's all about proper cycling.
I'm convinced Frank Mir has been cycling, I like the guy but 30 pounds in under a year?
I personally know an Olympic badminton alternate and he's admitted to using to me... And he plays friggin' badminton and undergoes constant Olympic level testing. You gotta be delusional if you believe elite level MMA fighters, who have almost no testing whatsoever, aren't on something.
I mean hell even guys like Big Nog, who most people don't suspect at all, had 3 different surgeries in the span of a month and somehow rehabbed within 4 months while also becoming more buff during his time off. I'm a huge Nog fan, but that man took steroids during the Schaub camp. He had to. It's impossible to rehab for the 6 hours a day and throw in a full fight camp in the mix without something to help your body to recover faster then is normal.
And that's what we're talking here. Using for the sake of training, to allow the fighters to train both longer and harder without causing their bodies to fall apart on them. Getting bigger is irrelevant. The HW most known for roiding is Barnett, and he's a friggin' cream puff... But he's also one of the most technical ground specialists in MMA. Why is that? Because he can train in the gym longer then your average heavyweight because he uses.
On a Bellator related note, I hate fucking Funky. Wanted Lima to win so bad.
you guys are autistic if you think 100% of professional athletes in any sport are roiding
