I just can't get past his gut, reminds me of a small Tank Abbott.

Looking forward to the fight for sure
Yes, I cannot wait for next week. I'm rooting for Kimbo cuz he's came into the show with the right attitude and Roy's ego is too much for me to stand. But on the other hand, if Kimbo loses then Rampage might have another police chase to get over it. I'm torn.
The Wes Shivers fight was garbage, they were both done and to be honest I feel like Shivers got robbed.
Even though he was the most tired from the two he was able to take down the other guy at least three or four times and almost knocked him out. Garbage fight, garbage decision.
Did mcsweeney say he had like 100+ kickboxing fights before? If that's true I don't see how he hasn't gotten out of the habit of turning his back and running. I think that punch that looked like it rocked shivers looked much worse because of how gassed shivers was so he just went with the energy from the punch, if he had been rocked that kick to the face right after would have likely dropped him but it didn't.
I was unhappy with McSweeneys lack of aggression. Shivers had his hands on his knees and McSweeney kept backing off. I'd have been forcing the action and going for thai clinch or head kick.
i think you have to at least call it 19-19 because of shivers failed rear naked choke.
at which point he would've lost because he wouldn't have come out for a 3rd round.
The win was poor, but still deserved - Wes Shivers should've steamrolled that fight, and he didn't. At all.
I don't know if it is really ok to give the guy credit for just being huge, but... the way Shivers powered out at the end of the second round was pretty incredible, and yet he couldn't seal the deal on a kimura, a full mount pummeling, and two chokes earlier. What they should have done is let it go another round; even if neither of those guys had anything left, they could've at least given someone the option to try and make a showing. I have high hopes for Kimbo and Roy; maybe we'll actually see a fight where both guys aren't completely out of gas by the end of round 1.
My biggest fear with a season of all heavyweights is what is happening. They all run out of gas...quick. I really hope the rest of the fights prove me wrong, because I really don't wanna watch 13 more shitty fights.
Wes' takedowns submissions, jiujitsu, and overall takedowns jiujitsu hurt to watch. guy isnt even a 1 stripe white belt in any non-mcdojo bjj school.
Kimbo will win the next fight. The other guy has no cardio whatsoever and has let himself go considerably.
Roy Nelson is a world class fighter, I can't see Kimbo getting passed him.
And Wes definitely won the first round, he dominated the first 2&1/2 minutes, then gassed, but there was no reason he shouldn't have been given a go for a final round.
If Roy let himself go it happened when he was 10 years old. He has been a top 20 HW for a fair bit and was 'big country' that whole time. He is probably the best bjj guy on the show and among the better bjj guys in general at HW. If he stands with kimbo, which he may be cocky enough to do, he may not win.
does he have to cut weight to make 265? cuz he looks like he prob walks around heavier than that
fight finder says 250lbs
Hate to say it but roy is going to lose
I can tell you guys what the supposed results are for the fight if want to know in spoilers. I cracked a month or so ago and went looking for spoilers but only found 1 or 2 that seemed legit.
