When did Maynard magically become a KO artist? Are people forgetting his fights pre-Frankie Edgar?
Thanks. Just wanted to clarify the individual's who've never seen any other Maynard fights. Only person worth mentioning that Gray Maynard has ever KO'd is Gray Maynard.
LOL at Hioki though! Get offered a title fight, duck Aldo, lose by decision to Ricardo Lamas on the undercard.
Tbh I'm not sure it's ducking if he willingly admits he's not ready and would probably get smashed. It's like, his 3rd UFC fight or some shit.
I guess you can argue that but when opportunity that may never come again presents itself you take that shit. Especially in MMA where anything can happen.
Welp, so much for the Hatsu run.
Go go Swanson.
Nah Hatsu will do work in the future, was too early to give him a shot anyway.
ask fitch how easily he got his second shot at the title. if you get thoroughly dominated in a title fight it can often be nearly impossible to get a second shot so in some cases I think it's a good idea to wait and improve to where you actually have a chance to win even if it means you lose a 'tune up fight'
Cub can't help but throw flying knees. I can't think of a fight he didn't throw at least one.
CUB BITCHES! FUCK YA!
Anyone that counted Cub out because of his loss to Aldo is retarded, I would like to see him work his way up to a rematch.
I dunno if he'll ever get a shot at the title, but I always root for him 'cause he's got a balls out kind of style. Always awesome to watch. His fight with Semerzier is so bloody good.
Hairrow via TKO.
Wow surprised the hairrow got stumbled like that so early, but I knew he would come through, amazing sub defense. Loved that GnP at the end of the 2nd. Tj has an awesome guard. I wonder who is next for the hairrow now? Would be awesome if he got the winner of Bj vs Rory.
Kenny should refrain from using penetration and ground and pound in the same sentence in the future.
