It doesn't make it any less impressive, he's obviously improved and now he's been training at AKA. You do remember not even Bj "best boxing in MMA" Penn could catch FE? Yet Maynard did and nearly finished him, several times.

ask fitch how easily he got his second shot at the title. if you get thoroughly dominated in a title fight it can often be nearly impossible to get a second shot so in some cases I think it's a good idea to wait and improve to where you actually have a chance to win even if it means you lose a 'tune up fight'
