I understand him not taking the fight if the show would have gone on anyway without him but with so many other fighters and families depending on that card to happen I think he should have just taken the fight and won easily in the 1st or 2nd round.

i am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo disappointed. while i think machida is the best hope for jones being beaten, i thought hendo would provide an interesting challenge as well and was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lookin forward to this fight damn.

i don't blame jon jones one bit for turning down the fight, i don't think it's unreasonable at all, dana white is just being his usual prickish self.

I don't see Chael as any real threat. middleweight fighter going up to light heavyweight with no training camp? I guess they couldn't get the card for free on FX or something, Hieron/Ellenberger wouldnt be a big draw. Sucks for the guys that needed a paycheck more than anything.

A lot of fighters are on twitter raging for essentially being screwed out of a check. It's a domino effect too, we're talking about trainers not getting paid and fighters being separated from their families for a training camp being all in vain. Bitch move by Jones IMO, Sonnen isn't really a big threat to him.
