he earned his first fight by beating okami and marquardt. marquardt was basically the universal #1 contender going into that fight.

Ronda/Cyborg would be easier to market, it would bring something fresh to the scene, Ronda is easy to market. Fucking huge boost for womens mma this would be. Unless they're doing a heavyweight season in mens TUF, no1curr.gif

Machida and Hendo were the real challenges, Gusto if he can get past Shogun, Davis in time, Lawal and Mousasi if you need to scour outside talent

Not for nothing but Hendo fucked up too, he's getting stiffed for his shot because he's just as responsible for the event being cancelled as Jones was for not taking the fight. Dude was injured and knew he couldn't fight two weeks before mentioning it to Dana.

Do I agree with Chael P. Sonnen(R) getting the shot? Nope, but I can see why Hendo isn't getting it.

Chael doesn't deserve this at all, it won't save TUF either. This is seriously the stupidest choice the UFC has made all year next to the 152 cancellation.
