daniel cormier planning to go to 205, as he doesn't want to fight his friend & training partner cain velasquez should he beat jds for the title, and because he wants to fight jon jones. cain predicting cormier will be able to handle jones no matter where the fight goes, expected sentiment as they're friends but... i'm kinda inclined to agree i think if this happens cormier will be the guy to beat him.

I want to see how Glover would fare, that dude is scary. He wants to fight Rampage? I know they were suppose to fight originally but lets face it here, if Glover takes Rampage down, it's over. He doesn't believe in lay n pray.

Yeah, during the Olympics he had kidney failure from cutting weight which essentially ended his wrestling career, I think he was only cutting to 218 at the time too. Cain said if he's going to make LHW they're going to specifically taylor a strict diet for him.

He was trying to make 211. Likely would have medaled too, he got such a good draw.

He was still a bit chunky when trying to get to 211 so if he loses some more fat as well it would be possible

dude weighed in at 238 vs Barnett and his kidneys nearly collapsed when he tried to make 211 as a smaller, younger man

i get that he doesn't wanna fight Cain but chopping off 33 pounds of fight weight ain't easy even for guys who haven't had weight cutting issues. rather see him stay at HW he's one of the bright spots in what remains by far the weakest division

The guy has one of the top gyms in the world supporting him should he decide to move down to LHW. I'm sure they can find a nutritionist and develop a plan to cut the weight down in a healthy manner. Not saying he can or can't, I just personally would love to see Jones vs. Cormier.
