cardio and controlled pressure are huge parts of their game as well. they lose a lot of first rounds, don't lose a lot of fights, never make fight-ending mistakes. and a really good boxing game makes your striking better than 95% of the fighters in your division it's a huge deal and a huge difference. Miguel doesn't fight the same though it's true, he got brutally finished twice in a row by the two best fighters he ever fought in the WEC and decided uncontrolled aggression wasn't the greatest idea
at the end of the day he's a classic case of a naturally talented guy with a limited skill-set looking invincible against bad competition then getting pushed to the limit by above-average competition and being unable to hang with elite competition
