it's too bad dream never took off, i miss pride, i liked having a big mma promotion based in asia. i hear one fc is doing well but somehow i highly doubt they'll be more than a gnat to the ufc.

Dana's opinion on womens mma is that there aren't enough good women to make a division out of it. I'm guessing that the ufc will just have ronda fights and maybe #1 contender fights when ronda needs someone new to armbar. It's possible they come to an agreement with Invicta or some other womens organisation to take their top women for big fights with ronda and mention the promotions name from time to time to give them promotion. Oh, and assuming Cyborg can make 135 they would promote the shit out of it but it will just be the Ronda show otherwise.

I do wonder if they will refer to her as a champion because it's likely she won't have any division to be a champion of. Maybe no one will even notice and will just look at her and drool a bit.

Wow I didn't realize how many good actual match ups there are on this card along with a fuck ton of other ones. I got my money on Kampmann, would love to see a rematch with Condit or even a fight with GSP, rather than Hendricks. Sam Stout vs John Makdessi should be awesome, but kinda worried about John's TDD, he got run over pretty fast by Dennis Hallman. Hoping Mark Hominick's return to Canada goes a lot better this time.

i remember looking forward to this fight back in the day when it was originally scheduled in strikeforce, lookin forward to it now. once again, i get the feeling i'm just extending my bad call streak on heavyweight fights, but i'm going to call bigfoot to win this one. i have no faith in overeem; i think he's completely overrated, whereas silva surprised me his last fight.

man that'd be funny if cain beats jds and then silva beats overeem, then we get cain vs. silva II... silva's gotta be a nervous wreck going into that fight

It's gonna be a situation similar to how if Rashad couldn't get through Phil Davis, he wouldn't get a title shot. Whereas Phil Davis had no chance at a shot unless he completely obliterated Rashad in impressive fashion, but we all know that didn't happen, and what we received in that aftermath (Jones vs Evans) was one of the most disappointing "beef"/drama fueled fights in the UFC next to Rampage vs Rashad after such a crazy season of TUF building up all the hype.

it's true Werdum and Cormier are a lot more deserving of titles shots than Bigfoot

but Cormier won't come over until Strikeforce is done for and Werdum is filming with Big Nog until next summer

JDS has to fight somebody and everybody else busy

Cormier and Cain are retardedly strong considering not being anywhere near as big as some of the rest of the top HW's, I really can't wait to see how this climb to the top will end for both guys. If Cain defeats JDS to become Champion once again, DC said he would fight at LHW hopefully for a match against Jones, which would be fucking awesome, I want that match even more than Henderson.

Are you guys generally unphased when it comes to gore? Anthony Perosh horrifically broke his toe this week and just holy fuck I wish fucking BLOODY ELBOW had warned everyone they had an actual picture of it. I must share the pain I have seen lol.
