Cerrone was robbed, rounds 1 4 and 5 were for him and I don't think any of those were a razor close round. I remember round one being exciting but Cerrone having it fairly easily, maybe these judges think being on top of someone is winning a round, even if you are in a triangle.

Lol, did you even know either of these fighters or have watched them in the past? I assume you just pick a name like everyone in this thread because it's basically a 50/50 chance you either pick right, or pick wrong then come in and save face with more comments that make you look like you know wtf you are talking about.

He isn't worth responding to. Such a great fight, was very impressed by both of these guys. I missed part of the first round 'cause my Tivo thought it would be awesome to just skip this show. From what I've been reading, people are mixed over the first round. BE has Henderson with round 1, sherdog has Cerrone with it, and mmaweekly has Henderson as well. I will reserve judgment until I see the replay. Seems like it was close enough to go either way though.

Awesome fights in my own Hometown. How the fuck did Henderson not get choked out? Both fighters showed amazing flexibility. Henderson's wrestling is what won him the fight. Cowboy couldnt figure out how to stop his single leg takedowns until the 4th round. It really was a very close fight. I hate to agree with Tommygunzzz, but in less of a douchebag way. I'm surprised that someone who sucking BJJ cock all day would make a comment about laying and praying. LOL Ever notice how he never makes picks but only comments on other's picks after the fights?

I think the first round comes down to 2 locked on submissions for 2~ mins, not just sub attempts, vs being on top for 2~ mins and landing solid punches but not any punches that rocked cerrone. I just don't think 10~ punches is equal to 2 fully locked on submissions that last for quite a while and only don't work because the other guy seems nearly un-submittable.

Cerrone is just too confident in his ability to win that he doesn't go balls out early and is almost complacent with giving up takedowns because he knows his ground game is good. It's not that henderson started to gas out and that's why his take downs in the later rounds weren't working it's mostly that cerrone decided that he was actually going to work to stuff them instead of just giving up the take down and searching for subs. You can see that cerrone just isn't using under hooks and pushing the head down like he should be in the first few rounds but starts to do it and is fairly successful later on. He could have won at least one of those first 3 rounds in the judges eyes had he been smarter.

Real BJJ guys always go for submissions and continue trying to lock them in throughout the fight in an attempt to get the finish, never giving up.... is that what you're saying?

And such a person trying to do that sort of thing (most effort made to finish the fight via KO or submission) should be recognized for such an act?

About Nate? Just attitude and I won't fault someone for being young and dumb. About Nick? Wasted potential and listening to dumb people around him. They are both young and will hopefully grow up and become who they can as fighters. Nick just needs to screw his head on the right way and see how much money he could be making if he'd just take his head out of his ass. When the promoters won't promote your fights on the main card because they don't have faith that you will actually follow through...something is going wrong. If he gets on the Nov. 7th show, which doesn't look like it's gonna happen, he's going to lose so much money by not being on the main card.
