Time for JDS to work his way back up for the rubber match.
Time for JDS to work his way back up for the rubber match.
hell... freakin... yeah... MY STREAK OF BAD CALLS ON HEAVYWEIGHT FIGHTS IS OVER!!!
That commentary was the absolute worst tonight though, I've heard Rogan swallow loads before for JBJ or anyone who throws a pretty kick but this shit was on a whole new level. It got to the point where he literally said "Nice jab by Cain" when JDS was the one who through it lol.
just occurred to me, this means we'll be seeing jones vs. cormier sometime in the hopefully near future
Apparently JDS had his jaw broken in the 2nd* round.
That overhand right from Cain in the first round did it...he wasn't the same after that.
It's so awkward the interaction between Cain and Erik Perez. Fake ass Latino interacting with a born and raised Mexican and yet the UFC pushes them both the same lol.
i wonder how many times cain and jds will fight each other before their careers are over.
but yo i got pissed when the crowd was booing him during post fight interview. he looked so sad. JDS is like a cuddly bear inside the body of a killer
Cain's Spanish is atrocious lol.
yeah crowd booing jds was bull. i still want to see him fight overratedeem. he's been talking so much trash, i want jds to be the one to finally shut him up.
Ubereem is the biggest myth in MMA today. It's like people suddenly forget this is the same fighter with a glass jaw, the gas tank of a skate-board, and the heart of a potato. Nigga gets some horse steroids and puts on some muscles and all of a sudden he's a big deal.
He put some nice wins together in Japan, but who the hell doesn't? Fuck the Bigfoot fight, feed him to Cain asap.
he didn't even really have any great wins in japan really. pretty much anyone of name value beat him, even some lhw's. then he wins a dull fight with werdum where he actually loses his standup exchanges, then beats brock lesnar who is probably the 2nd biggest myth in MMA. i'm called silva to win back when they were originally scheduled to fight, gonna stick to it. if i'm wrong and he wins, then either cain or jds is going to destroy him. and i will quietly laugh.
If you didn't see the blatant bias in the commentary then you're hopeless. Everything from flat-out stating the first fight was a fluke, this was the worst I've ever seen Rogan. There was a point where JDS got back to his feet from a Cain take-down attempt and Rogan basically mocked him for it. It was pathetic. It was bad enough he rode Leben like a pro-faggot into the sunset earlier on in the night.
I think Goldie needs to come back ASAP, they cancel each others stupid shit for the most part.
Oh well I was at a friends with a bunch of people talking, drinking, and thankfully didn't hear Rogan much.
Who was the other guy color commentating tonight and where was Mike "HE'S LOOKING TO FINISH" Goldberg?
joe lauzon came off as a real cool guy at the post-fight. he was really good sport about everything.
JDS, I am disappoint. Guard down the whole time, never fought back, completely dominated. Where the fuck was his BJJ "black belt" for all those moments on the ground!? He spent so much time keeping his hands close to his lower body to avoid the takedowns, he forgot about his fucking head. Also, looked straight up busted post-fight.
J-Lau, on the other hand, saved the night for me; sucks he lost.
lolMiddleweightdivision. Phillipou > Boetsch > Okami > Belcher > Palhares < Lombard < Boetsch wtf makes no sense.
Weidman > Muñoz < Okami.
Weidman is regarded as a contender, but never beat anyone who matters outside of Muñoz/Maia. In the Meantime, Bisping gets next title shot if he beats Belfort, after barely beating Stann and losing to Chael. Victor doesn't get title shot if he beats Bisping.
Makes even less sense.
Also, LOL @ me for going 0/5 on main card. =/
