Hamill was already bleeding before those elbows and they certainly weren't responsible for whatever happened to his shoulder. Bullshit decision.

As for showboating after, I didn't see that, I saw a guy celebrating a win after the ref called it off. I'm not even sure Jones knew those elbows were illegal as he was throwing them. He seemed confused when the ref pulled him off.

I don't think many fighters know the technicalities of elbows like that. I even remember one of the refs being confused about the hellbows that florian throws off his back to the top of guys heads.

I don't like showboating at all in general, it just pissed me off. Them elbows were fucked up to throw and they did do alot of damage. I'm not arguing the fact that he shouldn't of got DQ'd, he won the match.

12-6 elbows being illegal is just retarded. i can't believe that it's still a rule and have never seen it really enforced before then. it is just carryover bs from the early days of regulating. jones is just trying to put on a show for the crowd, nothing wrong with that. it is a sport on national tv with sponserships...he could give a shit less what some dudes on a forum think about his "sportsmanship" if he's pulling in advertising dollars because of it.

I don't see how you could see how gracious he was with the loss and doubt his sportsmanship, and those elbows were clearly not any more dangerous than the others. They only seemed worse because Hamill was done and they got past him.

I can't think of the opponet but it's when Anderson Silva was fighting in Japan. Anderson was in full guard brought his leg around and kicked him in the head, knocked him the fuck out, he got DQ'd for illegal kick. I think it was the best kick I've ever seen, that was retarded. Rules are rules though I guess.
