Looking up my theater for this movie, it doesnt explicitly say 3D on the title of movie, or even next to it in parenthesis or anything. Is it still going to be in 3D, or my only way to know is to go out and find out when I get there?

I honestly wouldnt waste your money on the 3D, I honestly wasnt too impressed. =/

I'm big on 3D and this movie wasn't shot for it. There's like what? 4 total scenes with 3D in it?

I saw this a second time today with my friend who hadn't seen it. We both got in Imax 3D for $6, so I figured what the hell? I enjoyed it just as much the second time around as the first. The stuff in the middle was kinda boring with Sam & his father. I also was looking for scenes with Tron in them and have to say to all the people bitching about lack of Tron in the movie need to pay closer attention. Most people in here probably realize this already but..

Tron is peppered throughout the entire movie. Sure you don't always see his face, but he is the one doing most of the fighting or bidding for CLU. He has quite a few scenes. Knowing it's Tron from the start helps show this, I guess. With the ending, they definitely leave it wide open for the 3rd movie. He kicked all sorts of ass in this movie. Hopefully in the sequel we'll see him do more good than bad. Apparently Disney already hired the 2 screenwriters from this one to start penning the next one. Let's just hope it doesn't take 30 years.

So I bought Tron DVD about a year ago for 7$ for the special features it had, and saw that the Legacy 5Disc has the same features (all bonus features from the original classic special edition (as seen in above pic) (which is the same as the DVD specials that came out in 2002)), and was curious how much I could sell Tron on Amazon for. Went to look and USED was being sold for 34$.... lol... Put my copy up for 29.99$ and it sold within 2 hours. So looks like I saved 30$ on buying the 5Disc special.

Pretty pissed that to get the blu/dvd/digital copy you gotta pay for the 3D version as well.

Daft Punk's Tron: Legacy soundtrack is getting the remix treatment. The album is titled R3CONFIGUR3D an features mixes from M83, The Crystal Method, Teddybears, Moby, Paul Oakenfold and Photek.

The album is available in a number of formats at the official website. You can choose between a mega box set that includes: Tron in 2D and 3D on BluRay and DVD; a 128-page comic book; the CD and digital copies of the soundtrack plus a lithograph for $99.98.
