Right... well, when we can legally purchase and smoke weed (especially in a business), get back to me.

Last I checked, there's a lot more of a variance of flavors with hookah tobacco, too. Granted, I can understand that argument seeing as I think herbal is garbage and a waste of money, as well as the fact most run-of-the-mill lounges are shit and/or overpriced, but flavored tobacco's cheaper, overall, unless you're growing pot in your own pad.

I just personally think hookah bars are lame. They're always loud and filled with those people who think they're "posh" or "cool". Like, they don't actually like hookah, they're just doing it because they think it's rad. And hookah doesn't do anything to you. It's just breathing in $15+ smoke. I can understand cigarettes, but hookah... no.

I don't think we have Hookah in this country, but I remember the thread about it some time ago... it's sort of flavoured smoke, right? Sounds revolting. And I assumed it would at least give you a cigarette-esque buzz.

A lot are like this, that's true, but not necessarily all of them. The one I work at isn't. It's really no different than a strip club or lounge: you have to research and/or hunt around.

As for a buzz, or rush, that also isn't really accurate, either. Some flavors actually do hit you; some way harder than others. You also can throw alcohol or caffeinated beverages into the base to enhance that.

I'm just going to admit now that I hardly ever do hookah and have an extreme bias against it. I've never gotten a buzz when I have done it though. Just seems like a waste of my money and a place where to go if I wanted to lose my mind.

The place I go to is full of... middle-eastern dudes and punks. The owners are this really old greek couple or something. I've never run into any artsy pretentious douchebags in there yet.
