Tbh, I don't think that's exactly something you could rightfully terminate someone for, unless she was posting it from work. Granted befriending your boss/employer on a social networking site is a stupid thing to do in the first place, but depending on what type of state you live in, it could be seen as a wrongful termination. Insulting your boss on a website that he can see what you said about him is a stupid thing to do, but to fire someone over something outside of work is a tad extreme on the bosses end (again, if she posted it from work, it's a total different can of worms). It'd be almost like someone complaining about it to a friend while eating at a restaurant only to find out your boss was sitting behind you the entire time listening.

Also looking at the picture, she looks like she is between 16-18 year's old. What kind of job that hires that age has a probationary period of longer than 90 days? I don't know of any that I can think of. Either way dumb girl is dumb.

He said she was still within her six month period. Technically he doesn't need a reason what so ever to fire her. He could say he didn't like the sound of her cough and kick her to the curb. But of course he could also mention everything he said there about her work ethic and so on.
