Actually, it was lauched after WWI ended on December 5, 1918. It got stuck June 8th 1929 when they where going to use the boat as a dock.

True enough, and they used aggrigated concrete - but I just summed up the story. If I recall, without googling anything, it was launched from Cape May.

They say (and by they I mean my old barely-speaks-english german grandmother) that there are several German subs sunk off the jersey coast as well, fairly close to the shoreline. She swears by it.
