I'm pretty close to battlemaster too. I need about 1.5k rep for defilers and just like 50 or so wins in EotS/AV and then I'm done. Also need to find a 2s partner that can carry me to 2200 for arena master. I hate being a shaman for 2s.

I don't think PVP is too imbalanced outside of 2s. Go play 3s or 5s and you'll see real good pvp. Although fuck the A team 5s (Warrior, Disc, Destro, Ele, Holy Pld) that shit is stupidly imbalanced but not many play that comp.

Also, if any of you have issues with a pillar humping druid, just remember that 99% of druid players are fucking retarded and bait their dps into going around another pillar, and killing him out of LOS. If the druid pursues, just make a quick switch and he shouldn't have hots on himself. He's fucked, gg.

If you looked, you should have seen discipline as my dual spec, so yes I can be an unstoppable healing God when I choose to be. And last, shadow is much more useful for running flags because of fade and dispersion breaking snares and dispersion and shadowform reducing damage taken.

I got 2200 in 2s running shadow priest/rogue, 2200 in 3s running disc/ret/rogue, and now I just need to find a good 5s team.

As a hunter, I have a lot harder time taking down a flag carrier with a holy priest cure bombing him, meaning I gotta waste time taking down the holy priest while fc gets away.

Much easier time taking down a shadow priest caring the flag.

krye, sp/rogue is pretty impressive. I ran resto/affliction for a while and I know that's supposed to be a gladiator level comp but we just ran into the shittiest luck and every single 2s team on stormstrike is our counter.

since you have a disc set, if you get this set up you really should for 5s.

Disc/Holy (spam dispels on any immolates or flame shocks and heal)
Warrior (some hybrid spec that includes improved spell reflect, plays very defensively)
Ele/Destro (pick a target, kaboom)

shit is almost impossible to counter

we run a pretty homosexual 5s comp too, ours is...

Everything is different in a group, if it's one on one, I'll psychic horror you which will stun you long enough to get vampiric touch and shadow word: pain on, the disarm effect will last long enough for me to get a fear off and then I'll mind blast, devouring plague, throw out my shadow fiend, hit dispersion, you'll probably be dead before I'm even out of dispersion. If I'm within melee range from the start I can fear and that will give me enough time to VT, SW, MB, and DP. It's incredibly easy to fuck off any class with a decent opener, if it's a caster I can throw silence on at the end of the fear to give me enough time to get in two mind flays.

I'm in full Furious gear except for two deadly set pieces, I'm fairly confident I can take on any class 1v1, and I'm also pretty comfortable with the thought of taking on 2 or 3 people at once.

But if you think it's a better idea to go a healing spec and get completely locked down and not be able to move once I get snared by all these assholes and not be able to kill anything on my own, then I guess that's your opinion. You also have to consider the fact that I can pop out of shadow form whenever I want and heal nearly as well as a healing spec, minus penance.

Yeah, I stopped doing 2s seriously once I got my 2200 achievement, it's just fucked up when you can't take out a resto druid within his DK's sap, then the DK turns around and 3 shots you.

I'm a beast in 3s though, I dispel spam everything, juke the shit out of interrupts, fear bomb everyone, fun times.

best part is seeing nerd rages over me DPSing in battlegrounds instead of healing with my orange mace.
