156 shihei in my inventory to start.

100 casts under Yonin, exclusively Utsusemi Ichi and Ni. I was careful not to cast when Yonin would wear off mid-cast. NIN75/RDM37, no Ninja Tool Expertise gear/merits.

74 shihei left, so 82 were used. Approximately 20%?

If it started at 30% and degraded to 10% evenly, you'd see an average of 20% NTE. Seems reasonable.

Ninjas are the vast minority of ninja tool users (mainly utsu/tonko/monomi tools) and this made the job so much more fun, not having to worry about keeping up with tools and such. Never had as much fun in FFXI as I did with 100% yonin, lol.

Ahh well... I guess it'll stop other people QQing because us ninjas got to save some inventory space. =(

Had to job change to do shit but in the little testing so far I had 0 procs in 5 times of hitting yonin and casting ni the instant it would let me.

Going to take a loooooongass time to get enough numbers to matter as far as different phases.

How are duping salvage drops and casting ninjutsu while under the Yonin effect even remotely the same? Salvage requires a specific process that wouldn't be done for any reason other than to dupe. Yonin has three effects (NTE, Evasion, Enmity) and NTE is probably the smallest of them, it's retarded to call people using Yonin as bad as salvage dupers especially when they probably are using Yonin for a reason other than NTE.

Saying salvage duping and using yonin are the same is ridiculous, it's more like if Salvage suddenly cost 500 less Assault Points or something like that.
