I dunno, the old guy in the robe with a bottle of wine hits a little too close to home, that's usually how I wind up playing DOA4

the demo is up on the JP store in case anyone wants to play it.
edit:
Wow looking at the option menu u can chose between enlgish/JP voiceover and english/spanish/french/german/JP subtitle and text. If the US version the same as this one i would say dont bother waiting and dload from the JP PSN.
Man, just like Sigma1's demo, they give you incentive to replay it over and over to see what you unlock next.
Long stage compared to #1's also. Replaying it as Ayame now, who appears to have her own stage. And yes, sixaxis boobs are in the demo.
Now can someone DL the NA demo when it comes out and confirm to me whether decapitation is in or not? JP demo has the head just disappear and get replaced with this purply mist. I'm not going to judge the game's gore based on this version given Japan requires censorship of particular things for it to get rated.
So far, all I've unlocked is a harder difficulty, Ayame's short mission, and 2 Team Missions which are wtfAwesome. 2x Ryu (one CPU controlled) is crazy, and the dual-ninpo attacks are OP.
This is how you make a good demo folks. Unlockables, giving users a taste of stuff within the demo in parts of the game that's technically impossible to have stuff at (like nearly fully upgraded weapons), and jiggly boobs. None of this 9min-long barely-one-stage crap like Killzone2.
No sign of co-op anywhere in the demo, but I wasn't expecting any.
Regardless, this demo has me sold. Problem is, I can't afford anything full price, so I'm likely stuck waiting on a Greatest Hits release just like I did for Sigma 1. (which I still need to beat. Just been stuck on the one level near the end of the game for ages)
I should buy sigma one when I buy this when it comes out
Of course all the AI get guns when I put it up to the harder difficulty.....
Now I know why people were bitching about the difficulty of the 360 version, having to dodge all this shit as you *try* to get within melee range.
I got slowdown on PS3 when I was trying to rush through the stage and ignore baddies, until I hit one of those 'fuck you' doors that won't open until the area was cleared, and all the dudes I rushed past started ganging up, around 8 on screen.
If it helps any though, the slowdown was 'smooth' in the sense no frames were skipped, so it was still playable, just it was in slowmo basically. No idea how the slowdown worked on the 360.
It was the same. I remember a hellish staircase right near the end of the game where dozens of enemies came at you at once, it was some matrix-style shit going down. That was the only real bad point to Normal difficulty, but the harder difficulties are full of slowdown, it gets a little silly.
I like how the demo lets you kill the boss rather then stopping when it appears. Blue glow is gay sauce though.
Man, he must have been shaking the controller fairly hard to keep the jiggling going.
Just a shame that it just makes them jiggle randomly via up/down shaking (other directions did nothin I found). Earlier trailer implies that they move in a semi-1:1 nature with the sixaxis, but that isn't the case.
Maybe the demo doesn't have it implemented fully like the final release.
Maybe they've just never seen real tits.
from an interview on kotaku (inb4 brp/shitstorm)
"Kotaku: What do you think about the feature in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 that allows players to control characters' chest movements with the SIXAXIS?
Itagaki: What the hell...?"
Sums it up perfectly.
Sure he wouldnt be chill with the fact they removed alot of the blood and gore as well.
That reminds me of DOA the boobs jiggled like that on that game.
Comes out next tuesday and oh shit english demo is out now, forgot, dling now!
edit: shit not on the store yet![]()
