I disagree... Allowing the players to choose their own Augments is basically giving the players the opportunity to all be terribly awesome and whatnot.

Like luck of drops or botting NMs for hours a day is a fairer way to make people terribly awesome.

Augmented my BST's Corsette+1 and got +AGI and, more importantly, +Magic Accuracy and then my BRD friend said some angry things to me hahaha

Took both of these on 1st try, BLU from Grauberg, SMN from E. Ronafure. BLU could have been a bit nicer but it should make a decent solo piece. SMN was pretty much exactly what I was hoping for:
