Of course some people do actually have the gil to spam some relatively expensive items. Even if it does take a ton of gil, and time farming tabs, a lot of the best gear in the game now is coming from augments, so it's definitely worth it for many people.

I'm one of the people with enough money to and I still think it's silly to an extent. It's dumb as shit to SPAM expensive stuff the week something is released. In 4 months everything will go back to normal price and I'll take the 33% less expensive forager's if I choose to do it.

I did stuff I had no intention of selling, Triumph's and etc.

I agree to an extent. I seriously doubt many of the people going "OH LAWDY IM SELLIN MAH CUCHULAINS!" have anything above even just 10 mil. Hell call it 5, on hand.

Better investments for less money instead of wild fantasies.

Umm, I sold my Cuchulain's because it seems to me the Op is going to be open every other week for the next 6 months at least. I'd be shocked if Cuch Mantle doesn't drop down to 1mil or lower in that time period.

I'm wondering if +4 is the cap for stats on staves (other than resistance BS). Seems to be a recurring number.

Ya I think this could be true, and I also think maybe certain stats are categorized for example we have seen +4magic acc +4dark magic skill +4MAB on HQ staff, and also +2attribute so maybe MAB, magic skills, magic acc are in 1 category, and attributes are in another? I haven't heard of MDB on aquillo's yet, but if you can get +4MDB that would be sweet too.

Eh, i suppose that's true to some extent. However 4 months is far longer then i'd ever even consider waiting. Not all items have skyrocketed in price though. My item of choice to spam being aquilo's for example hasn't increased in price at all since the update.

Use with caution though, they say there isn't a 100% chance you'll have your item re-created and you can only use this service once.

Suppose if you want to make the most of your one-time dealy, you should keep trying to Augment other Cerb. Mantle +1s until you get an augment you like, while keeping all your failures. THEN you toss all the other crap augmented mantles at the same time, and get them all restored via the GM service.

Of course, having/obtaining more than one +1 Cerb. Mantle might be a problem ;x

Wouldnt WS dmg+3% be like virtually no improvement unless its stacked with full overwhelm? 1000 Gekko -> 1030 Gekko isnt rlly worth risking another try imo (this ofc without overwhelm)

Decided to try the fight with some friends for fun.
Cept for the first fight our blm decided he'd rather sit around with his thumb up his ass than sleep things lol, so it didn't work out again.
Killed it twice and got this on the second time, reasonably happy (no perdu, also don't even have gear for war but yeah)
