Woot new sub-forum! So whatcha all rolling?

I believe I have changed my mind from chanter to templar. Will have a chanter alt that I will also work near the beginning, but it's gonna get some twink love from my templar. Gogo extracting enhancing stones from useless quest gear and giving them to an alt.^^

Also, how do you go about getting stones that are 10-15 levels over you w/o buying them off the ah? Just buy high level whites that are cheap and break them down?

It's luck really, I blew up my level 12 green gloves on my Spiritmaster and got a level 23 stone out of it before.

I plan on going Elyos with either a Ranger or a Sorc. I might also toss around the idea of a Templar but I've always been more of a DD than a tank person.

Haven't read much on Assassin, but though I had seen at some point a lot of their skills don't stack with other Assassins, making the huge amount of them not as useful vs boss type mobs. Any truth to that or am I making it up?

They can share engravings, but there are some things they have that don't stack, it's the same with Spiritmasters, which is making me skeptical of rolling one, and instead looking at Sorcerer for my mage class.

After playing on C-Aion for a while, it's Sorc, SM, Glad, Ranger, or Chanter. I know C-Aion is supposed to be making this an easier choice but it's not lol.

Well, that's good to know, I think I'll avoid Assassin for now until I get really into the game and max out at least one character. Now the debate between Ranger and Sorc with myself

How does this skill work again? Just get DP and target it at an item? I guess you can break down pretty much anything?

Well I've played a wide variety of classes on chinese servers now...

For my main at release I think I'm going to roll a Templar. I've enjoyed playing a tank in past games and have been main tank for a few guilds/games now.

My gf can't play as much as I can, so she will be leveling more slowly than me. I think i'm going to level up a Chanter with her Assasin.

So when she is playing we will duo 100% of the time. When she isn't playing i'll be leveling my Templar. (this is unless I can figure out how to dual-box quick ... hmmmm)


Oh and for race I like Elyos better, but as soon as my gf saw that the Asmodean girls do a flip when they jump.... well it's all over now, I have to roll Asmodean >.<

Haha! Yea I got pretty lucky. When I met her I was raiding hardcore in WoW.. Was in a top raiding guild since Molten Core was the only instance and met her when we were working on 4 horsemen before BC came out. On our 3rd date I found out that she played WoW (I never told her I did) and I came to find out that not only did she play, but she was better geared than even I was.

Oh and she's hot too >.>
