I have always found that :

this is an MMO, not a job application

Is always the first sign of bad.


Of course it's not a job, but what is a job application really? A way to express your qualifications and personality to a group of people who you want to associate with who have never met or even heard of you before. You will most likely be spending 20-30 hours a week with us in game or on vent. We want to get to know how well you will mesh with our legion before we go ahead and invite you in. This can not be done in one poorly written paragraph.

We are looking for a specific type of player and are certainly not zerg recruiting or inviting. How can we know if we truly fit your style of play if you don't convey what it is that you enjoy or look for in a game. How do we know that you are experienced in end game of any other game or will call it quits when things get difficult. How do we know that you put out the extra mile to make sure your character is the best it can be.


If you don't take an application seriously, you'll be the one hurting from it when your hopping from terribad legion to terribad legion. Go ahead and look at my app. It's complete and conveys exactly what kind of player I am. It took me 20 minutes to write. It's not like it's a job application or anything >.>

Even if you filled it out amazingly well you had a 99% chance to be declined. I was in the guild for three years and in that time we had 7 new recruits. We had ridiculous requirements too. These are my two favorites and we were very very serious about this.

Please link 2-3 WWS/WMO/WoL reports from multiple raid nights in your previous guild. Are there any abnormalities in these reports? Please explain. Note: If your guild does not use one of these systems, please create a free account and take some logs for us.
