That first pic from Pooky really makes me realize how much of a change those wings give you. Now that I play the game more, they really make your char look pretty epic compared to the starter. I just used to think they were pretty meh when I first saw pics of them.

My gladiator at launch is going to look pretty much exactly like my chanter in OB. I want to make her a bit shorter than average just because I think it's funny seeing a small girl trying to left that huge polearm or great sword and then owning face with it. I love the animation they gave women in the game with those weapons. They make it really look like they're having to use alot of effort to swing the polearm around vs FFXI where apparently all two handed weapons are light as toothpicks.

Bah, apologies for the gender derailment. It was not my intent when I replied earlier.

Tried dye on my clothing yesterday.. the blue from the NPC came out way to bright and I ended up removing it. Guess I'll just stick with default colors on items. I looked at the wiki and honestly didn't like any of the dye shown there.

Oh, by the way, I'm on the same server(Siel) as you Silver. Well, until tomorrow atleast. It was the only one that would allow me to make Elyos on. I haven't seen you, or anyone else on the char list, yet. I normally hang out in Channel 7, though. Ziahli (Spiritmaster), Shiari (Cleric), Wintryth (Archer).

Some guys just like playing girl characters. I wish they could just admit that than constantly repeating the "omg my characters ass" line because that just makes you sound like a loser.

when I started MMOs, I had been playing console RPGs for years. and always in console RPGs the healers are female. So when I started playing MMOs and gravitated to playing a healer it just felt more appropriate to play a female character.

maybe because I'm a guy I don't really understand what is attractive in men. Everytime I've made a male character he feels very bland and generic. I mean let's face it: other then "Bruno" last page, most of the guys are tall and/or large muscular manly-mans, or they look like the A-typical douche-bag

I might try a male character with my alt: but my main is being a female for sure.
