Who am I kidding though, it's SE, the company who hasn't been able to handle its customers worth shit in 6+ years of FFXI, I guess I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up.

The fact that they are willing to let people try it out to the public (those who went to it) is a miracle in itself.

+ presenting the first playable and seemingly localized version outside Japan, well, even outside the US but in Germany, where stuff usually arrives about two years later.

Does it matter? FFXIVCore should be posting pictures/information very soon hopefully, just be like everyone else and DDoS the site with F5 refreshes waiting for info.

I know Eurogamer are at gamescom, but I have no idea if any of the "big" sites are there, mostly because they're US based and TGS is coming up, I imagine they'll save budget for sending people to Japan over Germany.

I think 1up is supposed to be there... I mean the link to the main area for GC has FFXIV as the main title to look out for >.>

probably in the sense of the scale for the environments. The game may have had horrible animation/non-existant animation and ugly character models, but its environments were incredible looking especially for the time they came out.
