    yea the distance definitely looks explorable...... hopefully they stats will be very similiar for hp and mp since it was stated already that race won't play that big of a role on which job you wanna play.....

    im very impressed and excited off so little can't wait for more stuff... thx to whomever went out and made this happen this morning .... well worth it being alot of us were just expecting news ... not actual footage!

    I dont like how slow they run one thing i hated about XI was the standard run pace feels really slow. Attacks on the chicken seems really slow too. All in all it looks really pretty at least hopefully can see more concrete info soon.

    The bad clipping on elements such as trees and bushes is still pretty noticeable though, so I dunno really.

    Yep saw them before but it's clear it's the game is still on alpha here is no way that we getting pop up from trees that is so close to us like that lol

    After all maybe that's why SE doesn't want to show the game yet XD

    i examined the pic after downloading the video and the whole area next to the card is the quest description:

    translates to

    Not for animal lovers
    Defeat certain monsters 2525 (propably the reward)
    Dodo 1/6
    Puk ?/3

    Those are the types of things that don't get really fixed till closed beta phase. Alpha testing is meant to test proof of concept and just getting the game to run properly, polish like clipping issues and pop up come next when those things have been sorted out... plus its an earlier build.

    I hope someone fiddles with the cam a bit more and takes a picture of the distance straight away instead of sort of angled.

    The ranger had MP too

    It's an alpha with fixed hp/mp/etc for everyone it seems.

    seems hume was fighter / tank
    elv was a archer
    taru was a mage since pics came up of him with the staff in hand.

    just need vid of a archer actually shooting and and taru casting mixed with a full view of the distance and i'll be content....

    If you see close in the video there is a Lalafell around! Also in the FFXIVCore there are 2 pics of Lalafells (not good quality but something!).
