Quick attention grabbed by:
- summons important to story therefore there's no pet/summon class atm :<
- seamless world
- focus on pve just like ffxi, pvp might be added in a sport-like manner in future (so, just like ballista?)

The announcement of weapon durability makes me sad. All MMOs I've played that had weapon durability were a complete disaster. The system is so hard to properly implement and it just gets annoying when your weapon breaks and even more if it costs a ton to repair. :/ Let's hope they do it properly.

Wow! Looks great! I am very interested in both the casual and hardcore parts of the game. Some days I may just wanna craft, some days I may wanna take on some giant mobs. I also like how they said in the interview that being high in one skill will not make other skills lower. So if you want you can be highly skilled in as many things as you wish or have time for.

I'm satisfied with the media as we got a taste of the potential FFXIV could offer for exsiting FFXI players or people looking for a new MMO or who wants to get back to FF but what a new experience.
