Since when were you employed in SQEX?
It's been five years now, I was starting with FFXI and now on FFXIV.
What has drawn you in this company?
I love video games and like a lot of people in the world, my favourite ones are from the "Final Fantasy" serie. Obviously, I went towards the parent company when I decided to work on this field.
Can we ask you which is your favourite FF?
I supposed you thought it would be FFXI, but even if I like it a lot, I always had a soft spot for FFIX.
What do you think about XIV project? Was it too early to allow players to test it?
SQEX worked on this very ambitious project for several years now. We have good hopes to make it a hit like FFXI. For that, we decided to provoke community's reactions since the first steps of development and this test is one of the best opportunities to allow them to express it.
Did you see FFXI fans in your booth today? What was their reaction after their several minutes game test?
Yes, many players made the trip, sometimes in small groups. Most of them wait to see more, but seem rather enthusiastic about the graphic evolution between both opus in particular.
What kind of reception the game had from players who came to test it?
We had several categories of players: the ones who came to test for interest or out of curiosity, the ones who are attracted by the known company's new releases... After that, the reactions were various: some people think the game looked nice considering its development's stage and can't wait to learn more about it, other people were surprised they got to test the game this early, but as a whole, the feedback we had was always positive.
Some days ago, Mr Tanaka and Mr Sundi confirmed to us that a Premiere Sites system would be introduced like FFXI, but with a will to work in nearer collaboration. Can you tell us more about it?
Pratical details of partnership with our fansites are still considered, we can't tell you anything more about it for now. However, if you want an example of this partnership, they can appear as databases linked to the game on the fansites which will be opened to a maximum of players.

Ignore shit like that. Someone goes to a convention, comes back and spends the time making a writeup so people around here can have some more information, translating it in the process, and some nobody on the forums wants to bitch about sentence structure?I'm sorry if english isn't my native language and if I typed too fast. If you find any more faults, please tell me.
How many languages do you speak fluently, Kaslo?
Ah my bad.
I was joking, I wasn't really serious![]()
Don't worry about it and remember

So safe to assume this thread is useless now till TGS?
Well considering the thread is @gamescom, it should probably just die until TGS and then make a new one ;x
