Tried the WWWcard thing also. They gave me the CC number, I go to visas website to activate it or w/e, it says its not eligible for verified by visa. I go back to the WWWcard website, and there are VBV Logo's everywhere. Tried to just pay my fee's thru POL, it stops me after I put in CC info saying this card isnt eligible for VBV. /pulls hair out. now im out the 4$ transfer fee.

EU account is safe. Montly fee got billed and I'm in game right now.

What can I do for the US one? Have both Visa or Mastercard..

I have friends with 360 but all has EU game... Need to find someone with a PS2 and a US copy of the game installed = nearly impossible in europe...

I was actually thinking of using the PS2 emu pcsx2 to try and run the PS2 version this way, but on the quick glance the process didn't seem too easy ^^; Might look into it later on though.

Well since the ps2 version of pol doesnt require the new changes then obviously the pc version is a different program. However in order for the pol registration servers to tell the difference between the two versions it must obviously confirm this somehow. by simply making polPC give the message saying "im a PolPs2" it could be possible to bypass this on a pc.

Got a link to that program? I just found one of my expansion CD's for Ps2 so a nice/decent ps2 emulator would save me the trouble of trying to initiate some shitty security system that isnt even standardized yet.

Call and ask how to register your new one as long as it matches all the info like address name phone and has the vbv or sc authentication. If it does not match I think you need notarized/photo id mailed/faxed proving you are owner of the account.

*If you try to change the info yourself, it will/should ask you to prove your vbv sc authentication so if you are not certain you have it, don't try that until after you get the authentication service.

There are tons of links in this thread to find out if your card company offers verified by visa or secure card authentication also. Some people have it and do not know it because their banks default it. It usually pops up when you do your first online transaction. It turns up on New Egg at least.

Edit: Just checked on pcsx2 website, FF11 works until the intro, so i assume playonline will work.

I just tried ripping and running my PS2 POL disc on PCSX2 and it came up with an in-game error screen.

Anyone know where to go from here?

Download DEV9 plugin to emulate HDD but still... there is no ethernet so i'm not sure about networking.

I keep hearing you can just get a person with 360 or ps2 to input your info and it will go through without having to deal with the VBV secure code stuff. Not sure if it works, im unable to do so myself.
