Not sure if this means much to anyone. I registered my card with visa, which doesn't expire for a long time so I'm not real worried about losing my toon on the first anway.. but decided I'd call POL Customer Service to make sure I didn't miss anything. I asked what the deal was with the 3-D Secure thing. Guy on the phone asked how long ago I opened my account, told him 5 years. He said that with an account that old, if you are using the same card it shouldn't be an issue. He made it sound like it's only an issue for new accounts with new Credit Cards. I secured mine anyway, just in case, but it didn't sound like the world is completely falling apart.

He also stated after I verified my card with Visa, there wasn't anything else I had to do.

Of course, I could have just got a clueless CSR, but who knows..

That customer service rep is, in a nutshell, wrong.

It has been affecting plenty of old players.

I have used my MasterCard for years with my accounts and suddenly doesn't work even when the page after you click the POL button says I'm done and just have to click submit now on the POL viewer wtf...
