Slow day in the FF14 section I guess? Yeah.
Yeah, she's a -noyo character actually, and they bastardized it into 'kay. I'm not really familiar with the -noyo thing, but I think it's one of those things children tend to use a lot. I don't think I've ever heard an English speaking child say 'kay at the end of everything.
If there's a lot of additional content I might pick it up and replay it with the JP track. I did love the game play like everyone else, might be interesting to do one more play through and hear what the voices were meant to sound like.
World wide release feb 9th
Star Ocean: The Last Hope PS3 Really Is International - Star Ocean: The LAst Hope International - Kotaku
Looks like the PlayStation 3 version of Star Ocean: The Last Hope International got its expanded name for a reason, shipping simultaneously across the globe in February.
We knew it was coming to Japan, and now we know it's coming everywhere else, as Square Enix announces a February 9th North American ship date for Star Ocean: The Last Hope International, the PS3 version of the former Xbox 360 exclusive RPG. Along with both English and Japanese, the game will also feature German, French, and Spanish, making it even more international than we first suspected.
Along with the previously discussed battle system tweaks and menu changes, the official announcement says the game now features "amazing graphics through Blu-ray Disc," whatever that means.
My Xbox 360 died halfway through Star Ocean: The Last Hope, and I never had the heart to go back through it. Perhaps in February I can finally make up for that oversight.
Here's hoping they fixed all the horrible glitches the 360 version had.
One that pissed me off the most was on the Alien Space ship [forgot name] and continually froze over and over again. I thought my 360 was about to red ring but I had to install game to the hard drive to make it go.
Another thing that wasn't glitch but sure annoying is swapping disks back and forth if you want to go to a past zone.
looking forward to getting it on the ps3, i think i'm one of the few who enjoyed the game on the 360, just didn't manage to beat the final 2 bosses. extremely high level melee's against the first secret boss was a huge mistake, lol. hoping to see the glitches fixed.
as for LO, didn't the box have a microsoft game studios label or something? i'm not at home so i can't see my LO box, but i recall mistwalker being part of microsoft and thus making it lol360exclusive
Despite how much I've heard bad about it I'm still looking forward to this because I really wanted to play it but wasn't going to get a xbox just for this
Everything bad about the game is about the story and characters - if those are particularly important to you then stay away. If you like awesome gameplay though, you'll enjoy SO4. The story is just about passable, so it'll take you from place to place well enough.
Yeah, most of the glitches I encounted really pissed me off. Even though I installed data for the first disc, I still got freezing which almost made me quit playing. But once I got to disc 2, installing data seemed to fix most problems. One that pissed me off the most was on the Alien Space ship [forgot name] and continually froze over and over again. I thought my 360 was about to red ring but I had to install game to the hard drive to make it go.
And oh god, the disc switching! Endgame will be so much more enjoyable without switching discs everytime you forgot a crafting ingredient/needed magical clay.
You know, I don't mind one bit that these games are coming to PS3, it just annoys me to no end that since I chose to buy them for 360 since they were being touted as "Only on XBox 360" I miss out on lots of cool content.
Just skip the temporary exclusivity and give it to everyone at the same time. Or release the new stuff as DLC on the 360. I wouldn't mind paying for it.
Microsoft pay for the 1 year exclusivity by helping with development, then when the devs want to release it on the Playstation 3, Sony has a rule that if a game is going to be launched on the PS3 a significant time after one of its competitors platforms, it needs to include a some/good amount of exclusive extras. You can see this with Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia, Bioshock etc.
I bought this game for X-Box 360 to play it on my brother's X-Box. After he deleted my account three times and had to start over, I lost interest in the game.
Bump, some SS of the International version popped up on Gamespot.
You can choose between 2d or 3d character art / profiles.
