Well I've had a rather busy week in and around Gilgamesh, I'm almost running out of things to do on the server and it feels like I've been here forever now.

Now normally I wouldn't plan to be this active on another server, but everything seems to be leading to something else, and it has been very welcoming of my traveling self. Except Fulgore who keeps lolBGing me when he sees me >=(!

I've been enjoying and meeting friends of friends who are becoming my friends, and other stuff amongst the lovely Sunbreeze festival atmosphere.

Some dancing with strangers and Mumor, some goldfish scooping with new friends like Seyrr(who helped me chase off a heckler when we met lol), and some taste of bigger game was on the menu this week!

Because Seyrr is always up late, and always gets distracted from sleep chasing the elusive one more large fish, I have to post only PART of my lucky streak to haunt him and make him stay up longer hours; I've caught about 20 of these plump suckers so far, stocking up!

When I'm not goldfishing, I'm crafting, and when I'm not crafting, I'm farming little things for some gil - WOTG quests were a great source of a money boost, but also some light farming such as wild onions for Eirenne's chef skills, and endless maple sugar for others has gotten me enough free crystals/spare gil to push up my crafts.

Tonight, I synthed the first of my goals. Which went to the ever-loving Rya who was still awake at the wee hours crunching numbers on her whitemage(Enginerd!), it was thanks to Rya that I was able to do guild points this morning in the first place since she went and farmed coeurls to make a harps.

Outside of my main 'goals for the server' - I've seemed to stumble upon some good fun every now and then, the other night between synthing I had to run to Jeuno for materials, I use the maw/campaign NPCs to warp around fastest from city to city since I'm only rank 1 and bumped into Brooke and company for some fun. They did Sandworm once without a Doomvoid so reset it and went again, I danced the second time from 100% to about 5% hoping to inspire a void.

Without any luck, we packed up and I joined in on nuking it down to 0% for a nice new title for a Wandering Galka.

I also went wandering for some wild onions tonight to rebuild my crafting egg(Dogwood & Super Scoops to earn the fish cost bundles for Tumbles!) and bumped into trouble when Seyrr came and gave me a pearl to ElForto.

It really was such a friendly gesture, see that LS isn't racist towards Galka at all.*cough**cough*

When I put on my pearl and saw what the LS was upto, I couldn't resist but run ahead and join in, bench warming at the least.

Much to my suprise, I didn't end up warming the bench, I got right in there and rocked it with the best of'em. Hell, I even survived wing, but when I ran to rest up my MP after dolling out an asswhuppin' it flew and I couldn't get out in-time, we did 5-6 orbs, and we got the best drops when I didn't die, so haa.

So that's been my week, I'll pick up some more probably as I finish up my cages, I'd like some more butterflies before Sunbreeze is over. I have to sign more as I make more friends, it really is a vicious cycle. With a lighter note, I'll end you on this.

Pretty rare title to get tbh ;/ As much as it sucks to have (or atleast to those who were hoping for an actual Doom Void for more awesome gear/gils/excitment) I'd say its definitely a cool one to walk around with @ Lv20

This is FFXI I'm not sure its possible to actually run out of things to do, you even said everytime you check your friendslist I'm in a different zone! Imo, I'm sure we can find a ton more for you to do! (I'm sure that doesn't completely throw away the idea of a SMN burn party which my linkshell has been spamming <333)

I'll come to pony, if you dig up the old Ixion is come! thread from when it was released, I was the idiot to punch it when the server came up since I logged in right in front of it. I'm sure Pony will AOE me regardless, but perhaps if a campaign starts in a San D'orian zone I can abuse a body boost and mana boost to compensate.

Imo, I'm sure we can find a ton more for you to do!

I'm using a different slot for my next mule, so kitten will be around awhile at the very least. If you bums want to SMN burn me, I'll wander around as whm or some such anyways, my BLM is 12 so at the very least you guys can cap down to it for one around 12-14. I'm open to doing anything on Gilgamesh with any shell, I have no bias to be hostile so yepper, you want a 20 whm and I'm game. I mostly play at night, I idle during the day but a disconnection will probably wipe my tells out sometime in the day.

Setting Sail from Gilgamesh!

As the sixth server, and first to be posted in public, Gilgamesh was fun and offered up a lot of entertainment over these past three weeks, I stayed a little longer for the enjoyment of summer fest then the planned 14-days I want for most these servers(following the free trial theme), and made a lot of friends with the height of that being a great linkshell providing some entertainment and assistance along the way.

It was a great trip, and I think the public response of having announced my presence provided a greater feedback and welcoming on the experience. Honestly, I find it a little hard to 'leave behind' Gilgamesh after this trip, but on the narrow of it, there is only so much I can do at level 20 without becoming a burden to those around me. Had I chose to level more, I'm almost positive I wouldn't run out of activities to do regardless of the handicap.

It's as bustling as some of the better servers, but with a friendlier population to the French player base then any other server.

Thank you, most of all to ElForto and their DisposableHeroes friends for having me along, I'm actually not really saying goodbye to them, as I'm remaining with this character while I explore using another mule slot, but they still need honorable mention in a finale. I think one strange inconsistency with this group that I've met more then most linkshells, is the strange amount of competence in knowledge that you can find lacking in one or two people from shell to shell otherwise.

Everyone here is smart, well bonded, and carries into most the conversations well, it isn't a shell of cliques, though it is a small size, it's more a shell as a whole, while still gettint things done. Also, thanks to Eirenne, Rya, Imitarate, Brookeashleey, and all the others who dragged me along to things, and hopefully continue to do so :3

As accomplishments go, I managed to get a craft to 30, I've accumulated a nice amount of gil, I've started into various storylines by sneaking around dangerous zones and exploring on my lonesome or with friends, and I've managed to donate probably a total of about 600,000gil in insect cages to friends abroad the server.(including my guild points for signing crystals, and when lumber was 10,000!)

For this week, I did some more missions to earn some gil in WOTG.

For the price of 800gil Gnole Claw, and 2 cutscenes, I was able to make 20,000gil alone and then proceed to go make 80,000 from an adaman ingot in the turtle BCNM. As you can see here, I pretty much rocked it all by my lonesome.

With all the dangerous running around sitting at level 20, I managed to delevel alot, so doing these chocobo mini-quests for exp scrolls was a nice way to try and re-earn exp along with my campaign ops. If you're introducing a new friend to the game, taking them a long for these is a great way to teach them the maps and fastest routes, though you'll likely only get greens the first couple times. It's free and you can do it alone.

There wasn't much screenshot worthy done this week, I crafted a ton of cages and had nice conversations with friends, Seyonne's moghouse is awesome for slumber parties, though I'm pretty sure everything I touched was thrown out and incinerated, we had some nice story telling sessions and otherwise.

Seyrr is pretty good at keeping things legal and PG-13 when he's story telling, so it didn't get too out of hand, even with me jumping on the bed.

Well, this week I'm being forced to move into a new house rl, and as such I might not be able to actively work toward my next server just yet, however I'm getting a start on things for Lakshmi server next.

Honorably, I let my Gilgamesh friends choose a fraction of my name and Random Name Generator the other half, and so a new Hero is born..

That's all for this thread really, maybe I'll ninja in some more stuff if I get anything done, I'll get to transfering it to a blog rather then the forums when time permits, however the response of posting from BG seems to help speed things up, so I'll update both formats.

For those who did not get Tumblingkitten signed insect cages, I'm probably going to sell off what I have left at 40K+(+ being optional) for those who want and use the gil to buy some other gifts for friends since they all have cages.

I have roughly 16 cages available, 9 butterfly, 2 crickets, and 5 glowflies plus some points I'm going to cash in tonight for a couple more.
