Dunno if this was mentioned elsewhere already.

Looks like they're showcasing screenshots from the trailer we've already seen (as well as the trailer itself). Seems also to be a newsletter you can sign up for, similarly to the FFXI newsletters that come in sporadically.

I'm almost sure I've seen that art somewhere before. I remember discussing with others and coming to the conclusion that the horned kid on the far left is quite possibly a Gria from FFTA2.

Was hoping for more real news, but maybe they'll be something at the Gamescom thing next month.

Very similar to the one that came out during the first announcement. They are definitely gearing up for a steady release of information, though. I expect a new trailer maybe of some gameplay at this upcoming thing or on the site soon.

It only had the trailer before. Looks like they're setting up to release information periodically now.

Yeah I don't get it either. The other link with the concept art pissed off my noscript so I pulled something from google images that I never saw before, trying to post it. A little nervous about posting my first image ever on bg so I'm going to check the ffxiv forum to see if this particular image has previously been posted.

This has always been available. Dunno where you've been looking but the trailer on this site always has been followed up by what's there now since they put it up after E3.

On the main page after the trailer it says: FINAL FANTASY XIV Teaser Site Live June 2, 2009!

I was able to see the site since then and I'm pretty sure there were pictures posted in the original FF14 thread.

I don't know how to post a pic so I will say that the pic looks like a hume and hes in a black doublet. His sword looks high technology though so I am uncertain on the age. It is unlike any of the other pics of the hume, light armor in black and not as modern as that main hume on the trailer. But it says 14 right under the pic so go figure. I need to get a photobucket lol.

Thats from FFVersusXIII not FFXIV. Its the main character of it.

Yep, Versus 13 image being used for a news article for 14... I'd ask what happened to writers checking their info and sources but this is from the internet, so I already know the answer.

Edit: It wouldn't hurt to take it down. Though this whole thread is reminding me why it's a good idea not to be easily excited about the hint of new info when I look at the Gamescom thread.

Yeah true but my fault, it could be I am just misunderstanding the placement of the title Final Fantasy 14 under the picture when it might be the heading for the remaining text. The article goes on talking mainly about the mmo though III is mentioned in sporadic bits. Want to remove the pic but there are rules about removing posts. Mods if you wish I will take it down .
