Disclaimer : apologies for the ‘wall of text’ but it is essential prospective members understand Finale before they apply especially when a server transfer could be involved.

~ About Finale

An Endgame Linkshell on Phoenix server, formed in August 2005. Primarily EU based with a few non EU members, Finale has grown to incorporate all Endgame content that Final Fantasy XI has to offer with its main focus on Einherjar, Dynamis, ZNM, Sea, Limbus, ToAU HNM, Tiamat and Past HNM, with other events like Sky/SCNM/KSNM99/Ouryu/BV2/Vrtra/Jormungand being less frequent but still scheduled.
Finale has got a ‘non-botting’ policy and therefore does not often engage in pointless hours of camping Dragon's Aery, Valley of Sorrows or Behemoth's Dominion.
Instead we use our time to obtain those items by taking down Odin in Einherjar, which we have been very successful at thus far.

~ What Finale is looking for

• At least 2 level 75 jobs with WHM/RNG/BRD/COR/RDM/SMN/BLU/BLM/PLD being the most desirable. Don't let that stop you from applying with any other (non-listed) jobs you might have! Finale is willing to review any application.

• While Finale does not expect all of your jobs to have the best gear available, applicants with exquisite gear and notable merits obviously have a bigger chance at receiving a trial.

• Fully completed RoZ/CoP with ToAU being sufficiently completed to be able to enter Einherjar.

• Access to Dynamis-Xarcabard.

• Access to all Staging Points within the ToAU areas with sufficient Imperial Standing to be able to warp anywhere when needed.

• Access to all past Vana’diel zones with sufficient Allied Notes to be able to warp to anywhere when needed.

• Ability to attend almost all scheduled events and preferably be online much more then event time. Finale is not looking for people who can only log on for (certain) events.
People who can attend during the afternoon, as well as attend evening events, should state so, because it will greatly influence their chances at getting accepted for a trial.

• A friendly, helpful and motivated personality. Offering to camp or scan a certain HNM without being told to, is considered a huge plus, while avoiding camping or scanning, will result in a warning, at first.

• Finale is mainly EU based, but does include players from all over the world.
Basically, extended afternoon (GMT) playtime and ability to join scheduled events are what we are looking for, no matter what timezone you are from.

• We are obviously not only looking for cross-server applicants. Phoenix’ people are more than welcome to contact us as well.

A standard weekly Schedule all starting at 19:00gmt could look something similar to this:
Monday ~ Dynamis
Tuesday ~ Free Day (Reserved for Salvage/EXP/Missions/.....)
Wednesday ~ Random Event : KS99/ZNM/SCNM/Sea/Vrtra/BV2/.....
Thursday ~ Einherjar followed by Limbus
Friday ~ Free Day (Reserved for Salvage/EXP/Missions/.....)
Saturday ~ Random Event : KS99/ZNM/SCNM/Sea/Vrtra/BV2/.....
Sunday ~ Einherjar followed by Limbus

Obviously this subject to change with Dynamis sometimes featuring twice a week and certain HNM’s taking priority over scheduled events and free days.

Finale uses sign-up thread to organize their scheduled events, in order to make said events run smoother. You are expected to state your attendance using these threads, even if you're not able to show up for an event.

~ Things to consider before applying

• It is expected that you wear the Finale pearl 99% of your game time.

• If online and an event is taking place, scheduled or not, you attend, free days are included on the schedule to help alleviate the strain of keep buffers capped etc.
Be aware that HNM camping can occur at any given time, though.

• All applications will be reviewed by the Linkshell council and then put up for discussion between members to decide on admittance. Background checks will be conducted as we see fitted.

• The first 2-4 weeks of membership in Finale is on a trial basis with a review of attendance and the relationship with existing members being made after the 2nd and 4th weeks. When on trial you will not be eligible for a payout or for any items unless they will be lost.

• All non-Rare/Ex items given to members remain the property of Finale, excluding up to T3 ZNM and KSNM99 drops, which are to be returned should you leave the Linkshell so as to pass on to other members.

• We do not use a DKP system. While attendance is logged and taken into account, rewards (such as lotting items) will be decided entirely by the council. When you have passed your trial, you will be able to create a wishlist, which should contain an item of your choice per equipment slot. A certain priority rule is used, which will take this wishlist into account during the lotting procedure.

• Finale has a very strict no-drama policy and will not tolerate /say or /emote drama with any other Linkshell under any circumstances. No matter how much another Endgame LS may antagonize, it is expected to be ignored with the consequences being expulsion from Finale. Finale prides itself on keeping relationships between other Linkshells as civilized as possible.

• Finale does not allow you to be in several Linkshells, except for Salvage. Events such as e.g. Limbus, Einherjar and Dynamis are done with Finale. You can be in a seperate Salvage-only Linkshell, but Finale’s events, scheduled or unscheduled, take priority.

• You better like having an orange pearl.

~ Advantages of joining Finale

• Monthly payout, based on attendance and Linkshell income. However, if you’re in it just for the money, then Finale is not the Linkshell you’re looking for.

• Items obtained are handed to members wherever possible before they are considered to be sold. Said items remain Linkshell property even after a player quits.
You are expected to hand in these items when you leave the LS, or quit the game. Exceptions may occur.

• Finale’s main expense goes towards funding Relics and Mythics for their most loyal and rewarding members, while considering usefulness for the Linkshell’s goals.
So far, Finale has completed 7 LS relics, of which 5 were 100% Linkshell sponsored.
The other 2 just needed some financial help getting through the final 2 stages.
Currently we have an 8th Relic and a Mythic in the pipeline.

• Friendly environment with dedicated helpful members, avoiding drama with other linkshells. You are more than welcome to join some of our members on Teamspeak.

• Your opinion matters; recently we organized a ZNM frenzy (2 weeks of non-stop ZNM madness) due our members' renowned interest in ZNM. This resulted in 6 people obtaining a Hachiryu Haidate.
Your input is also valued when choosing the next relic bearer, as well as when deciding on applicants.

• Finale has been around for nearly 5 years, rendering it one of the oldest, active and trustworthy Endgame shells on Phoenix. Our members have become a close group of people who work for each other, rather than for personal gain.
Finale as a whole takes joy in helping members obtain items they deserve. Finale should be considered your only, and final linkshell. We expect you to breathe Finale, once you are committed.
