They make fun of everyone though, that's what makes it great.
Just like the episode where Peter found out his ancestor Nate Griffon was a slave and he was part black. When he got pulled over by the police the officer recognized him as the white guy who thought he was black, he then proceeded to get on the radio saying he found a suspect in a stolen vehicle. When Peter tried to explain it was his car, the officer got on the radio saying "Suspect is getting belligerent". Peter then tried one more time to plead his case and then the office said "Officer down" and just fell to the ground while 3 cop cars came out of no where.
It would be one thing where they pick on one group all the time, but they pick on everyone almost equally. People with handicaps aren't exempt (We all remember the greased up deaf guy)
^this
It was also the same guy that they made an 80s popped collar joke about.

BeatenQQ
Either way, that was my favorite joke ever I do believe because I'd so do that to a person who I'd end up feuding with in this day and age if I could travel back in time. (*'-')/
might have been mentioned before, idk but one source says
"MacFarlane just inked a whopping $100 million deal with Fox that will keep Family Guy and its cousin, American Dad, on the air until 2012, making him the highest-paid writer-producer in tube history."
sweet. maybe we'll have 3 or 4 funny episodes by then.
They had 100 fucking million to throw at Seth yet they wanted to recast the main Futurama crew to try and save a few bucks?
(until the fan backlash made them change their mind)
FG being renewed that long is meh, I like American Dad a bit better, Its like Futurama is to the simpsons, only the degree of greatness is nowhere near as much, I just think FG went waaay downhill, but AD still maintains some fairly intelligent (relative to FG anyways) humor. Far from great, but my favorite of the two.
Everything's funny until it's personal, then it's offensive.
God I love America >.>
in my opinion, the most consistent funny shows are:
king of the hill, futurama (sometimes they have a hit or miss tho, like the episode with Fry's dog), and idk.. robot chicken? i havent gotten into shows that im supposed to get into. like south park, and boondocks.
but simpsons and family guy did end up going downhill. simpsons was pure genius. i still laugh at the 'the goggles, they do nothing' clips, but the writers all disappeared lol. Family guy is still funny and has some great clips, but its too random now, which normally isnt a bad thing, if it can accompanied with something.. idk. funny.
South Park is definitely the most consistent, if anything it's gotten better with age.
Ya that's my thing. Parts like where chris breaks a chair across brian's face to see the vet, i almost pissed myself. But then the next few shows were dull as hell.Family guy is still funny and has some great clips, but its too random now, which normally isnt a bad thing, if it can accompanied with something.. idk. funny.
I hate early South Park. It's only in the last few years I've started to watch it more and more because it's actually funny now. Their older stuff mainly consisted of constant swearing which was 'edgy' and attracted viewers. Plus cartoon kids swearing on TV had the media in an uproar which generated it more publicity.
