Qodoba is wannabe style, none of their stuff is very impressive. Chipotle > Qodoba so hardcore.
Never been to Salsarita's, there's one nearby my house though, should try it sometime if it's a similar kind of place...
Never even heard of moe's :X

Taco Del Mar > all the above
Don't be hatin' da fish![]()
Only ever heard of Chipotle, so I guess it wins by default for me.
chipotle is awesome. hate all you want because it's popular, because it's owned by mcdonald's corporation, because it's not authentic, but their ingredients are fresh and their food is delicious. I just recently started eating the tacos, and I don't know I'll ever go back to a burrito. so good. but it is what it is, the food is definitely whitewashed and prepared for conservative suburban tastes.
never had the other three, although I might have tried Qdoba's once around 7-8 years ago, so can't really comment (I was drunk at the time anyway).
there is one place around here that was starting to become a chain but seems to be dying off, Burrito Loco, which was basically a chipotle ripoff with better rice and salsas, in exchange for poor service and mediocre-quality ingredients. I liked it, but their habit of hiring stupid punks and loser stoners (no offense to stoners, I used to be one, but they suck in service positions) had a lot to do with their decline, I think. the one in Dinkytown is still open AFAIK, probably because it serves booze and because it's near campus, which is a better location for a semi-dive restaurant than the ritzy uptown area.
on a side note, why the fuck do stupid suburban hicks insist on calling it everything but chipotle? I've heard chipolte, chipotles, etc. good lord people it's not that hard to pronounce, and I don't even know where you're getting that "s" on the end from.
Chipotle ftw. Some of the best guac you can get easily. Love their salsa and rice too.
Qdoba > Chipolte > Don't know the others

i used to eat at this place all the time when i lived in cincy. their potatoes pancakes are so awesome
Having eaten at them all, I'm not at hesitant to make my personal rank:
MOE'S >>>>>>>>>>>>> Salsarita's > Chipotle > Qdoba
Moe's is great because I love their steak. I got a Joey w/ steak the first time I ever ate there and it was so delicious that I only ever eat meals with steak in them at Moe's. I don't know why, it's just so juicy, delicious, and good. Free chips ftw and the salsa bar rocks as well, but I always get a side of queso which seals the deal.
Salsarita's is good because I like their pork. The steak there is good too, but a bit juicy and bland in my experience. The chips are also free, but the queso doesn't match up to Moe's and sort of has a Velveeta-like consistency.
Chipotle, well... I don't have too many complaints. It's good as well, but I don't like the fact that chips cost extra (or at least they used to) and I have to be in a certain mood for that rice. It's good, but I prefer the rice and black beans from Moe's any day.
Qdoba is average at best. It tastes good, but it blows up my anus later, usually within 45-60 minutes of the meal. Definitely a "do not eat" if you are on the go. I don't care for the steak here at all, but the chicken is good and they have nice variety... i just find that it doesn't measure up to the above.
Note, I'm primarily talking about burrito and taco menu options as I almost never get quesadillas, salads, or any of those alternate options. I could go a completely different way if I decided to try those options.
Only one I've eaten at is Moe's.
And just to be disgusting. First time I ever ate at Moe's I got the Bill Barou with salsa, queso and fresh jalapeno. And... it turns out the fresh jalapeno has the ability to turn your poop green. I was a bit shocked and worried when i discovered that.
I've ate at Moe's and Chipotle.
Both are really good imo. I like the taste at Chipotle better, especially the option to get it fajita style with green peppers and onions. However, Moe's is great as well and has pretty good Tofu when I'm in the mood for it. Ultimately, Moe's usually wins because its just such a better deal. The Joey Jr. Bundle here in gainesville is a Medium sized Burrito (bit smaller than the homewrecker/joey bag o donuts size) and comes with a drink, cookie (great cookies!) and unlimited chips/salsa for $5 with tax. I mean, you can't beat that deal anywhere.
Also, another great burrito/texmex place here in FL is Tijuana Flats. They have great food that is reasonably priced and a massive hot sauce bar that is made for people like me. They also usually have decent beer specials, which is a a great compliment to spicy food.
For me here in Gainesville its Tijuana Flats > Moe's > Chipotle, but I love all three.

Only ever been to Chipotle but I found the food great.
Chicken burrito with rice, black beans, mild salsa, sour cream, lettuce, cheese and guacamole. Good shit.
Chipotle is my favorite pace to eat, bar none. Moe's sucks donkey testicles. Never heard of the other 2.
Fresh ingredients, bigger burritos, barbacoa beef is amazing, and their hot sauce is the best, most flavorful hot sauce I've ever had. <3 <3 <3
I like Baja Sol too, but only for their chips. their burritos are crappy but their salsa selection is great. my favorite salsa is their red hot one.
Illegal Petes > Qdoba > Chipotle > (others)
Chipotle Started in colorado, The owners a really nice guy. Queso is the only thing that holds chipotle back
Chain Mexican food suuuuuucks much like all chain food compared to small scale local places of the same kind.
Only done Qdoba and Chipotle. Better ingredients at Chipotle, but unless mine is different, there's not much variety there. Love the queso and the bbq pork burritos at Qdoba.
Combine the queso from Qdoba and the barbacoa from Chipotle and I'd be satisfied.
