It's a toss up between Chipotle and Qdoba for me. I like Chipotle because it's a little spicier generally, but I love the queso burrito at Qdoba.
I'm really in the mood for Chipotle after reading this thread but the closest one is three hours away![]()
Qdoba by my office in NJ is incredible but another Qdoba I have went to once also in NJ was absolutely terrible, I think it all depends on who is running the place.
Moe's by my house is also great, never been to the other two though.
Some girl fed me some of her Chipotle... it was agreeable
Is there a Moe's or Salsarita's in NYC specifically the midtown area? Always looking for a new place to go to lunch during my break.
I've eaten at Chipotle's and Qdoba and gotta say that Chipotle's owns Qdoba. I love Chipotle's hot sauce, tho it makes me assault the toilet an hour after eating. It sucks that you gotta pay for the guacamole, but it's worth the extra buck and a half.
I've only been to Chipotle. I hate the restaurant, but I like the name. Mainly because I always hear my fobby friend saying the name all fobby-like from back when Jack-in-the-Box first mainstreamed the chipotle (to me anyways).
Chipotle is the new Salsa. People don't really care for the taste, but they love saying the name Chi-Poht-Le!
I don't know what a Moe or a Salsarita is, but I don't like Chipotle. All they have are burritos (no quesadillas or gumbos etc like qdoba does), and all their burritos are just a huge ass tortilla wrapped around a giant wad of rice, beans, meat, etc. There's not really much to it. Bigger than qdoba, but less variety or care put into it. They just dump an entire bag of rice into tortilla the size of a large pizza and call it good.
I truly believe they sprinkle crack on everything at Chipotle. I have all of these restaurants within 2 miles of where I live and I will pick Chipotle every time. In fact, I'm going there right now because you make me hungry! And I'm drunk at 830 on a Thursday night...
We only have Chipotle here. The closest of those other chains is a couple of Qdoba's in Dallas. I like Chipotle though, their burritos are pretty damn good, I also like the burrito bowl/chips for when I don't feel like stuffing my face with tortilla. They're a bit stingy with the meat though, at least at the location near me. About a year or so back, they ran a promotion with the hospital I worked with for free burritos with our hospital badge. Shit was great.
My friend here though swears that Mission Burrito > Chipotle. I haven't tried Mission yet.
Qdoba is okay, nothing really to write home about. Chipotle is really good, barbacoa or however you spell it is easily my favorite along with the hot salsa. The chips are pretty good too. The salt on them has a lime flavor as well.
They'll do whatever you want them to do with the ingredients they have, I've done quesadillas before np and you can get a burrito bol with extra meat/salsa which would probably be like a gumbo. Basically just tell them what you want and they'll put it together, the price is agreeable and consistent with what the rest of the menu is like.
fuck fake mexican places(chipotle) I rather go to real ones like Maria's taco shop or any taco trucks...food taste better and cheaper than those fakes restaurants.
Moe's is my favorite. I've only eaten Qdoba a few times, but it was ok. The only thing that I don't like about Chipotle is the heavy cilantro flavor; I just can't get around that. Love their chips, though.
I got Chipotle for free all last semester, so maybe i'm biased but I love it, that lime rice nuts

Burrito Loco Bar & Grill - Home
Chipotle is for pussies.
Moe's fucking rocks. Chipotle is all right, too
Everyone of these places mentioned is complete shit. I'll take any SoCal taco shop over these trashy places. Most delicious thing ever are California Burritos.
