1. When you make billions it's easy to shut down or severely stifle the attempts at another "better" insurance company to come along. Also, the reason insurance companies are so profitable is because they deny 70% of what they should cover. You obviously have a hard time computing this simple fact that has been repeated over and over and over.
This is why we want a public option.

5. Yeah, those people that haven't been fucked over and told to go screw because they have cancer that's too expensive to treat. Or whose baby died because that hospital wasn't under her insurance. If you think that the insurance Companies don't make life and death decisions you are retarded beyond salvation. They often won't pay for procedures done if you want it done in Hospital they don't have deals with. If you're unlucky enough like I am to have health insurance which requires you to pay upfront and they reimburse you a fraction of what you paid because its out of network you're fucked.
