    a musical can be a great fucking musical but if I wanted to see a horror film (except maybe sweeney todd etc) I would be disappointed. You can recognize the merit of something and still be disappointed by it.

    Welt and I were discussing how real that Mech looked. And HOLY SHIT at the first guy who got killed by the alien weapon. Most bad ass gun ever.

    The special effects in this movie are just scary good. Especially seeing as it was a low budget movie. Hell iirc it has a lower budget than land of the lost and xmen origins both of which blew donkey dick special fx wise

    One thing that annoyed me was while watching the movie, I already knew some of the things that were going to happen.

    Such as the dramatic build up while he was in the Mecha.

    I went from "going to see it when I can" To I must see this asap tonight. after reading the reviews and watching that short film. I don't think I'm going to be disappointed.

    I kinda wish I made this thread when I first saw the trailer and viral sites so I could appear to be a film visionary months ahead of his time. Sadly I don't know anyone who is interested in the trailers so I will wait until a copy comes online.

    This was incredible. Very Incredible. Dismissing the science fiction for a second, this was a very thought provoking and emotional movie. The science fiction and violence thrown into it simply added intensity and story.

    99/100 from me as well. I'll be seeing it again before its out of the theater. Everyone must see this. The hype is there for a reason.
