Silly that Texas is still ahead of Bama, and even sillier that Florida is.
I wanna see Cinci and TCU win out play each other in a bcs game, then the winner challenge the nc to the first game of the season next year.

Think im gonna goto the TCU/Utah game this weekend. Should be good fun. Plus ESPN gameday gonna be there.
Go Utes son
Dam u!
That's not me trollin', I just need every texas team to lose basically. Except for last week aggies.
Oh no, I'm not saying the Cotton Bowl is bad at all. I want to route for it, but that means I route for ND losing and I can't really do that. Just the way the contracts are laid out at the moment.
Next three games scare me shitless with the way our defense is playing right now. Terribad doesn't even describe.
Also, what in the blue fucking hell is USC doing back in the top 10?!
Its fuckin USC and people like Colin Cowherd are just fucking in love with them.
Local radio in Oregon is reporting that the Ducks have reinstated LaGarette Blount for this Saturday's game against Arizona State.
EDIT: Confirmed, http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4637797
I made the mistake of turning on local sports radio today in Columbus, Ohio.....I guess Terelle Pryor should be the front runner for the Heisman according to them....awesome.

As someone that doesn't really have any rooting interest for or against Oregon, I'm happy to see Blount got re-instated. Plenty of players have done far worse things to opposing players and received a 1 game suspension for it.
The less civilized part of me wishes he would have gotten a shot in at that geeky looking guy in the crowd yelling at him. (and yes I realize that him looking like he was going to go into the crowd was likely what got him the suspension more so than the punch)
see what happens when Florida and Alabama beat LSU, you get a tropical storm! :D
/slowclap
Just a brutal day in Pick'em, why couldn't ND/Navy be one of the games?! My dad was USNA '73 and I'd homer it up just for him (probably as my 1-pointer lol.) Also I can't rely on Bama being my 10-pointer every week, I hope ESPN at least has the Iron Bowl on there.
Watching the playcalling on Saturday, Jim McElwain needs to have his head checked. Bama passed on like 10 of their first 11 plays, what the fuck? This is why they haven't blown teams out, they try to get McElroy going first and get his confidence up, and when that fails only then does it become the Mark Ingram Show. Bama ended up out-gaining LSU 450-250 but you'd never know it because they dick around for too long trying be pass first in the first half. I was never really that confident they'd win until I saw Jarrett Lee take the field. It doesn't matter now, as long as something catastrophic doesn't happen with MSU this week Bama should be undefeated going to Atlanta. Auburn will be tough but I don't see that being your typical trap game.
Also, I am officially never ranking a Pac-10 team in my top ten, ever. Tom Dienhart's "What We Learned" bit was "It's time to start believing in Arizona." Really? Didn't Cal, USC and Oregon burn you enough?
good thing you aren't offensive coordinator. The passing plays at the start allowed for the running blowout in the second half. If they did not call passing plays to burn the corners out and spread the field they would have loaded the box and stopped the run like tennessee. Furthermore, it had been said all week that the key to beating LSU was if Bama could pass deep on them, this by professional analysts. 276 yards passing is an awesome day, you are expecting too much.
No you're right, I am expecting too much. But they're potentially the best team in the country, and I just hate seeing them underachieving on the scoreboard again and again when they are in position to dominate a really good team. And it worked out okay because McElroy ended up playing a fine game, despite the criticism from the BG faithful. But it makes more sense to me to run first and set up the downfield passing game, rather than the other way around, especially when your tailback is being called the Heisman favorite. But like you said, I'm no offensive coordinator.
I guess I've just seen them run over people with 8 and sometimes 9 guys in the box, and yeah Tennessee stopped the run but that's the best defense they've played athletically, and no one else has proved they can stop it. Besides Ingram and Richardson only got 18 and 9 touches respectively in the UT game. I just felt like they could push LSU around from the get-go, UF lit them up for almost 200 yards rushing.
Anyway all my bitching is just a symptom of being at a friend's place for all the games on Saturday and not being able to QQ on BG every time I saw Les Miles' fat face jawing at someone.
Maybe it's 'cause I'm a Steeler fan as well...but I'm used to ugly wins. A win is a win, no matter if it's pretty or not. I think our offense could do better, but as long as we keep putting W's up it won't matter to me. We should be able to get our O going the next few weeks against Miss St and Charlston Southern. Auburn hasn't been a defensive powerhouse this year either, though I never count that game as a sure win or loss just because it's the Iron Bowl.
Analog SEC Just Like Your Grandpa -- NCAA Football FanHouse
Uh...seriously?! How did anyone think that was a good fucking idea? Fail doesn't even begin to describe.
Edit: Best quote from there
Currently, and this is no joke, you and I are better equipped to decide controversial plays from our living rooms than the SEC officials are from the replay booths in the stadium. This would be funny if your team wasn't getting screwed by the failure of the most competitive football conference in America to jump on the high definition "trend." And, of course, by "trend" I mean something that every SEC sports fan under 40 with a scintilla of disposable income -- and many without that -- already have had themselves for over half a decade.
Officials on the field have a better view, that's why it has to be extremely clear in the booth to overturn. HD or analog doesn't make a difference.
Jesus, between the emasculation of SEC officials and increased criticism of baseball umpires, I just don't know what to think about sports fans anymore. Half of me agrees that we should use as much replay and technology to get calls right without disrupting the flow of the game, but the other half is wondering if we've all become a society of crybabies and sandy vags. The key to the LSU "pick" was the call on the field was incomplete, indisputable evidence, blah blah blah. I also like how the author makes his dad out to be some witless old codger, classy.
