Also, it seems yesterday our assistant D-Coordinator really wanted to put his foot in his mouth on Veteran's Day and call Navy classless and cheaters:

Because you know, your head isn't already on a likely chopping block with the defense you are responsible for sucking ass, let's just go ahead and remove all doubt. wtf...

lol, I was wondering what took you so long tbh
Getting some interesting feedback from UGA practices this week for Auburn prep. We've installed no huddle packages for both Cox and Gray (as opposed to just our previous 2 min drill sets), and have made some adjustments for the now dubbed "Wild Dawg" for Branden Smith. And official word on why we have not unredshirted Aaron Murray or Zach Mettenberger yet is Mettenberger isnt far enough along in his college "refinement" to be effective, and Murray was ready to go 2 games ago but we didn't want to burn his redshirt on 4 games. Murray still preps and gameplans every week as if hes the starter however. Stafford never did that when he first started.
I like the fact that at the very least Bobo and the offensive coaches are trying to do something different and get some things going on the offensive side with the talent we have, while Martinez sits on his hands and still refuses to blitz. Word around the blogosphere now is that Martinez is to be let go/demoted sometime after the Tech game and our Recruiting Coordinator Rodney Garner is to take the fulltime def-co job, while getting an outside hire for secondary coach. One can only hope.
Looking forward to the game between two mediocre teams in AU/UGA, lol. D: I wish both of our teams were better than they are. Good luck, Kirin. No shit talk from me as I personally thing UGA's got this, but I'm going with Auburn as my 1 confidence just because last time I picked against AU, they smoked Ole Miss. Still think UGA's got this by at least two TDs.
Rutgersssssssssssssssssssssssssss
can we be ranked again? our only two losses came to cincy and pitt!
o wait no one cares about the big east :/
I think UGA has this too, but for different reasons. Any team that lets Furman score 31 on them has some defensive issues. And I think if we give enough odd looks between the new no huddle packages, and Branden Smith taking some direct snaps...itll stop Auburn from reading our usual offensive playcalls enough where we can get Ealey going on the ground...but I see it a much closer game than 2 TD's.
I don't really want to shit talk either, as both teams need this for their seasons to look solid, and from a team standpoint both are still building, so in practice a loss does more for right now but a win for either side does a lot for next year.
20-10 UGA, a late field goal, maybe off a last second turnover, to ice it.
Game was in New Brunswick sir.
Most people around here were celebrating more for the fact we'd be ranked than for the win itself, think too many people are getting their hopes up.
If not now, soon though, we have Syracuse and Louisville on the schedule!
They played in Canada?
Spoiler: show
Probably mostly 3rd string to be honest. They can't afford to play their 2nd string guys since some are starting now anyway. Auburn's depth is non-existent.
The fact is, if Auburn's offense comes to play, and UGA's offense plays even mediocre, it'll be a high 20s/30s sort of game. Both defenses are below average, but Auburn's offense is a little better than UGA's. Still, with that said, I like UGA at home, but am going with Auburn (in my pick em) on a heart feeling. First 'go with my heart' call I've made all year.
Yeah. UGA's got the best playmaker in A.J. Green, but Auburn has some nice backs in Tate/Onterio McCalebb. Chris Todd is too hit or miss. When he hits, he can have a nice day. When he misses? Oh god.
HEADSPACE. Bearcats are an 8.5 point favorite over WVU tonight. Do they win and cover?
They win by 50 earning an automatic bid to the NC game.
That's what I was thinking. I think if WVU can get the ground game going, they could make it close.. but their QB is fucking stupid with the ball, so I'm picking Cinci to cover/win. (They won't cover now that I picked em. CURSECURSECURSE.)
